Worse than being told, based on a 32 error code printout, that my 2009 Acura MDX wasn’t worth fixing, and that I could throw it away, give it away, or just keep driving it, was the experience I had in dealin that my 2009 Acura MDX wasn’t worth fixing, and that I could throw it away, give it away, or just keep driving it, was the experience I had in dealing with such an unfriendly, disinterested, service consultant, named Nick. Haven't been pleased with the service department on several occasions. First our back camera doesn't always worked. They couldn't find the problem and asked us to bring it back while it was malfunctio several occasions. First our back camera doesn't always worked. They couldn't find the problem and asked us to bring it back while it was malfunctioning. We did and they didn't have time to look at it. Also had a simple latch issue that was simple enough they said they would have a junior mechanic look at it to same money. After waiting an hour past the scheduled service time they gave a $5 discount. I wrote about this in a prior review and the dealership replied, something to the effect, "we try hard to please our customers". It was insulting. The car was broken into via jimming the lock and the alarm never went off. I asked the dealer and they didn't know why. I followed up still didn't know why. The third time they said the alarm only goes off if the glass is broken. Very odd and I feel like they were humoring me at that point. What is the point of an alarm system if it doesn't work? More
