The service department is good at what they do however having to come in twice for a module replacement only to be told the last two were defective and I have to come back again for a third attempt erodes having to come in twice for a module replacement only to be told the last two were defective and I have to come back again for a third attempt erodes my faith in GM, I hope the next time will produce positive results because these return visits are costing me extra time and money. I go to Advantage of Hodgkins strictly because of the service that Carolina provides. Carolina is the only advisor that I will see when having my vehicle serviced. She ensures that my vehicle is serviced service that Carolina provides. Carolina is the only advisor that I will see when having my vehicle serviced. She ensures that my vehicle is serviced properly, and as quickly as possible. I have numerous dealerships closer to my house, but I take the drive to Advantage because I know that I will receive the service experience that a customer should expect. She is very thorough in explaining the service that my vehicle needs, and never tries to push service that is unnecessary. I work in fleet management for a very large vehicle rental company, so I interact with contracted dealership service departments on a daily basis professionally. Never do I receive the professional treatment that Advantage of Hodgkins, specifically Carolina, provides. More

Advantage Chevrolet of Hodgkins is a top tier dealership with a great service department. I called to get a service appointment and to my amazement got one the same day. My check engine light went on so I came to the service department to scan and diagnose any problem. The service entry always looks clean and upbeat. From start to finish the visit was treated with courte department to scan and diagnose any problem. The service entry always looks clean and upbeat. From start to finish the visit was treated with courtesy, professionalism, warmth and caring by the service adviser. I had confidence in the technician who serviced my car (name unknown). Owen was the only one I actually saw and interacted with, but I believe the service adviser is a good reflection of Advantage Chevrolet. Very satisfied. More

I’ve already written a google review but was very disappointed in my experience. My father passed away last year and we inherited his 2020 C8. He had bought 3 cars from your dealership so I figured I disappointed in my experience. My father passed away last year and we inherited his 2020 C8. He had bought 3 cars from your dealership so I figured I would bring the car there for service. The car has 1800 miles and has never seen rain or snow. I made that clear to staff when I arrived. They offered to hand wash the car which I was hesitant but accepted. When I arrived the car was outside after only 20 min of rain and was caked in dirty water spots. They refused to rewash the car when I picked it up. Almost $500 spent on an oil change. It doesn’t make sense that someone would take the time to hand wash a car and put it outside in the rain which makes me think they didn’t do it at all. Not sure if I’ll be back. More
