While waiting to meet Paula, manager Ed got to know us and understood some of the bad luck we were having while selling our home. Later on, we learned that he empathized and authorized for us to get a great deal hassle-free. Thank you Ed! We know we got a great deal because we used our USAA car buying app and the deal we got was rated as outstanding. Paula was awesome! She knew the car we wanted as we had the VIN from shopping around at other dealerships. She found us the same car in her inventory which was even nicer and with better features and almost for the same price that we had haggled at the other dealership! She convinced us on the panoramic sunroof and, although we did not see the exact car, we were NOT disappointed when we returned to pick it up. As she expected, our kids love that feature! On this pickup day, she greeted us with hugs like a longtime friend. And a long time friend she will be as she committed herself to us through the life of our vehicle as our point of contact for anything related to it including maintenance. Paula was able to answer a wide variety of questions, demonstrated a thorough understanding of Mercedes, the market, and is an ambassador for Ray Catena. Clearly, Paula understands a good relationship doesn’t just go one way – she paid close attention to what I had to say, respected my knowledge of cars and fed information back to me to help me make a more-educated decision. She was very manipulative and condescending. She loves to talk and talk and not listen to anything I have to say. She interrupted me when I spoke and did not believe anything I was talking about She loves to talk and talk and not listen to anything I have to say. She interrupted me when I spoke and did not believe anything I was talking about regarding USAA car buying service which I have been a customer for 25 years buying luxury SUVs that way. She is the reason why I walked away from this dealership. She condescended the quote I had from USAA and called it a “crap” in front of my children (we don’t speak that language at home). I shop smart with my money as I do not throw money away just because. She made me feel unworthy of purchasing Mercedes. My children could not stand her although I was able to deal with her, They felt that she was racist. Since children know better about reading people, I am not going back to her. I am taking my business over to Jaguar and will never consider Mercedes again. More
