I said "good" rather than "great" because there were stages of the process I wish had gone better but the "good" is solid. It took me a month to know what I wanted; my first visit wa because there were stages of the process I wish had gone better but the "good" is solid. It took me a month to know what I wanted; my first visit was to investigate the Prius C I finally bought (but didn't expect I'd buy after first test drive). Initial visit with Anthony was just right -- he helped me drive a couple of cars and look around. For about three weeks after that I investigated other makes and dealers and reviews and I found cars I wanted at lower prices but I kept wanting to get a car from a dealer close to home who has a good reputation and Falmouth Toyota kept coming up as a place I wanted to buy from--but what? I finally returned to look closer at options, when I met Townsend who was helpful and then then I returned the next day with a friend to drive two cars, when I met Steve --- all helpful in me getting closer to deciding. I'm totally pleased with how the deal went because I had a low-mileage leased car with hail damage and I think Toyota and I both had lots to gain by making a deal. I could have tried harder to pay less, and could have paid less for the same car off-Cape but my goal wasn't to pay the least -- it was to feel good as possible about what I did. I was reasonable and so were they. I hope they make good profit from my trade-in. I don't require alot of friendliness from a salesperson so I was okay with minimal contact and plain business-focused cordiality. What happened once the numbers began assembling downgraded my evaluation from great to good -- it was a bit sketchy and there were some errors. I needed clarity and it didn't come before I insisted. I prefer neat paper trails, especially when I'm passed from one person to another (when maybe the whole history isn't also being passed). I felt the need to be hyper-vigilent at all stages and I benefited from that (no surprises). I appreciate that Falmouth Toyota has a document fee of $95 when several dealers charged $395. I hope that the service dept. will help me keep this car for a long time -- hopefully I'll be checking off the "great" column for service at 150,000 miles. I'm super-glad to keep my money circulating on Cape Cod, where I live. More

I HAD A RETURN E-MAIL MONDAY AM THAT INCLUDED SPECIF INCLUDED A 3 PERSON TEAM. I SUBMITTED AN ON LINE REQUEST TO KEITH STANGER SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9PM. I found the vehicle I was looking for on line, and went into the dealership that evening where I met with Jack Moloney. We test drove the used Rav4 wherein he pointed out all the features this almost ne into the dealership that evening where I met with Jack Moloney. We test drove the used Rav4 wherein he pointed out all the features this almost new,used ride had to offer. The ride was great! Jack is a friendly, down to earth, very professional salesman. He is not pushy and seems very comfortable in his position. When it came time for the financing, I met with Peter. I decided to go with a better interest rate he offered with their in house financing, rather that using my HELOC. I couldn't take the new vehicle home with me due to the late time of day and insurance info. They gave me a loaner Rav4 to use to get me home and back again the next day, because my trade in was not reliable. I was afraid to drive home in the dark with my1995 sputtering mobile! The next day when I arrived to finish the paperwork, Peter informed me that I qualified for an even lower interest rate because of my excellent credit! Thanks guys!! This was the third vehicle I purchased from Falmouth Toyota in the past 5 years. This time wasn't any different. Consistency is one of their strongest attributes. I found the car I wanted at a fair price. They provided me with a good trade value for my car, and the F&I manager Peter was straight forward with no petty last minute attempts to take more of my money for unwanted add-ons. It's only fair to offer constructive criticism to allow room for improvement. I picked up the vehicle, the day of the blizzard, and the car lacked 2 things. A FULL tank of gas and floor mats of any kind. I went back in and confronted them about it to gauge their reaction but it wasn't taken seriously. Not a deal breaker but I think it's funny that you spend $22,000 on a car, shell out a $5000 down payment and start to drive away realizing they missed an important final touch. So I spent the $100 at the dealership to get the floor mats, and they let me. I love the car, I doubled my gas mileage and I bought a great car from a solid family dealership. I will continue to buy here and you should too. More
