I scheduled my first service on my 25 Corvette Eray at 7000k miles and due to the corvette tech being booked out had my service at 8000 miles. They performed the service and I was told everything was goo 7000k miles and due to the corvette tech being booked out had my service at 8000 miles. They performed the service and I was told everything was good. I specifically asked if everything was good on the car since it was the first service and I wanted to make sure everything was normal. I was told yes your car is good to go there are no issues. So 800 miles down the road I am on the interstate and suddenly get a really bad vibration from the rear of the car. I pulled off the next exit and checked. My right rear tire had a bulge pushing out from the center of the tire and wires were showing at the center near the bubble. The left tire was worn in the middle but was not showing any wires. I was shocked by the amount of wear on the tires but specifically the right rear since 800 miles before at my service I had been told everything on my car was good to go and there were no issues. I had the car towed to the dealer. Initially the service advisor Phil was great. They had to order the tires for my car from the manufacturer. I asked him if there might be a flaw in the tire since, from my perspective out of no where I suddenly had a bubble pushing through the center of my tire. He told me they would get the car on a lift and check and let me know. The car went on a lift almost a week later when the tires came in. Phil calls me to tell me the new tires are on my car and that the there were no issues with the tires that it is just my "spirited" driving that caused the tires to wear. To this point I had not pushed on the fact that my car was at the dealer for service 800 miles before and was told my tires were all fine, since it was possible that the dealer had not missed anything and the tires had a flaw. Now that he had informed me that that was not the case I asked him why I was not informed my rear tires were worn at my service 800 miles ago. He said he could not answer that question because he was not the service advisor at that time. I said I need to be able to trust this dealership with my car and would like to know how they had missed this because its not possible that my tires went from perfectly fine to wires showing in 800 miles. He told me that my "spirited" driving caused the tires to wear down to the wire since that service and the dealer didnt miss anything. To keep this short we went back and forth on this statement for many minutes since I dont think that makes any sense or is even possible, which I made clear to him. He started getting heated and defensive and proceeded to tell me that my car is a high powered sports car and he could drive my car for 10 miles down the road and wear my rear tires from new to wire exposed, it is a "spirited" driving problem not anything the dealer missed. The Eray is an all wheel drive car. It does not spin and you can not do burn outs. After he told me this I realized I was not going to get any help from him and his customer service skills were terrible. I told him I would talk to the manager when I came in to pick up my car. The manager Mark was very nice but not very helpful. He just explained how amazing the tech was and how the tech would not miss my tires being worn but we are all human and mistakes could happen but he didnt think that was what happened. Basically just saying the same thing Phil had said that it was my driving that had worn the tires down in 800 miles. These cars wear rear tires fast which I didnt know at that time but the dealer does and they should have checked my tires at that service, which is standard for every service, since Mark told me I should expect 8k to 10k miles from a set of tires. I have lost all faith in this service department if this is how they handle, what I assume, was just an honest mistake. A mistake that could have led to me having a blowout on the interstate because I put my trust in them. Be very careful if you have them service your vehicle. More

Very disappointed in my most recent service visit. I took my 2024 Blazer RS with 30 000 miles on it, in because the transmission is slipping. I told them it happens between 40 and 70 MPH and most often when in a climb such as a hill. I told them it happens very frequently during interstate travel and they may need to drive it a few minutes/miles to get it to do it. I set the alert in My Chevy ap to notify me when it left the dealership and when it came back. It was gone 4 minutes total..in Johnson City traffic around 4 pm. "We couldn't replicate the issue" was my answer. of course you couldn't...you didnt try. They also told me to have a passanger video it if it happened again. I am unsure how you video something you feel happening and cant see? More
