My husband and I went there to buy a truck outright. They finance department ran my name and SS# through 4 different credit companies. Why I don't know, if we were buying a truck outright. They claim They finance department ran my name and SS# through 4 different credit companies. Why I don't know, if we were buying a truck outright. They claimed it was standard practice, but after I contacted an attorney I found this shouldn't of happened. We weren't financing the truck. When I called about my concerns I was treated as if wasn't a big deal. It was a big deal. This hurt my credit score. As an apology they sent me a can of nuts. I found this to be insulting. I will never use CarMax again nor will I recommend them to anyone. More
