Made car buying fun? We are a 3rd time car buyer at Matthews-Currie. Our sales rep, Randy Getchey, was terrific. He showed us car options- we wanted an Escape like our pre We are a 3rd time car buyer at Matthews-Currie. Our sales rep, Randy Getchey, was terrific. He showed us car options- we wanted an Escape like our previous car-, explained the differences in the available vehicles and gave us a very fair price on the new car we selected. We had thought to pick up the car in a day or two, like up north, but Matthews Currie wrapped the whole thing up in a matter of hours and we were on our way. I do need to say it was December 31! Randy made arrangements to have a hitch put on the car for our bike rack. Am sure it would have been less expensive if we had called Hitch House ourselves. Everyone involved in a transaction gets a piece of the pie. Hitch House was fast in the installation. No more than 30 min.. We are happy with Matthews Currie and would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. More

Worst service to date Brought my car in New Year’s Eve because my check engine light came on. It turned off but I insisted on bringing it in to check what the problem was. Brought my car in New Year’s Eve because my check engine light came on. It turned off but I insisted on bringing it in to check what the problem was. I had a cylinder 2 misfire. Kevin reset it and said if the check engine light came on to give him a call. Had I known nothing was going to be done that day or that I wouldn’t be able to just “give him a call” and bring it in I would have made an appointment, not just left without insisting on them fixing the problem or making me an appointment. Called and told me they are booked out for two weeks and can’t help me. Got a call back and said I could leave the car for a couple days with them. I live in Bradenton and have a full time job. I cannot leave my car for multiple days at a time. I bought my car here and have always come back to get it serviced. Previous visits I have always used Kurt as my service advisor and have never had a problem, he has always worked with me and fit me in. Now I have to search for another mechanic to work on my car. More
