Today I purchased my new 2025 4Runner from Advantage Toyota and had a great experience. My salesperson Lakeem Burris was very patient with me and quite knowledgeable in all aspects of cars he sells. He generously appraised my trade in without long negotiation and was helpful during the purchasing process. Jonathan Ulloa, financial officer, presented all options of financing and extending warranty, pros and cons that I could make an intelligent choice. What a terrible experience. Carlos and I made a deal for a 3 yr lease, 15,000 miles per year. He sent me home with a copy of the internet information....that’s it. When I called Carlos and I made a deal for a 3 yr lease, 15,000 miles per year. He sent me home with a copy of the internet information....that’s it. When I called and requested the actual contract, he just came up with one flimsy excuse after another “That’s not in my folder.” “It’s with the finance guy and he is not in today.” blah blah blah. When he finally sent it the mileage on the deal was 10,000, not 15,000. The buy out price was a few thousand dollars higher. The lease came through a credit union, not Toyota (which he pushed me towards). Why the difference I asked. "ITs the only way I could get you the deal you wanted!” That’s not what I wanted. After that lame comment he just fell back on having made one numerical mistake. “I never do deals like this!”..... Oh, just me, huh? Dishonest flim flam guy. Avoid like the plague. More
