Rich Johnson has been in the auto industry for over 40 years and with Subaru for over 18. He has been married for 22 years to his beautiful wife Donna. As a Connecticut resident, he knows his Subaru will get him through our tough winters. Also, as an avid dog lover, his favorite Subaru is the Outback because it has lots of room in the back for his dogs! He loves being part of the Brewster Family and his door is always open to customers for any questions, concerns or to share dog pictures. Just don't get him started on his favorites: The Sopranos, The Yankees, his favorite bands Eagles & Steely Dan, Sinatra, old movies...or trains!

Very nice people, very courteous and friendly, however we have a problem that has yet to be resolved: my daughter bought a 2021 Forester, a beautiful car, from them and took delivery on November 20, 2023. As have a problem that has yet to be resolved: my daughter bought a 2021 Forester, a beautiful car, from them and took delivery on November 20, 2023. As is customary she got a temporary registration from the dealer while they took care of getting the permanent registration from the DMV. As of this writing, January 12th 2024, the forty-five day temporary registration has expired and the permanent registration has not come through. My daughter is paying for and insuring a car she cannot legally drive. If she's caught driving a car with an expired temporary registration she could be fined and the car could be seized and impounded. She contacted the NYS DMV and they told her, "Based on our records, it appears that the dealer’s registration application has not been processed by DMV yet. Please note that dealerships in New York have a maximum of 45 days to complete the process. Contact the dealer to inquire about the status of the paperwork." We have contacted the dealer several times and, while they've been very polite, we have not had a satisfactory explanation of why they have not completed the application or when it will be completed. Meanwhile we do not have the use of the car and have been inconvenienced. My concern is that this is a car that can't be registered at this point for some reason, and it's not fair to my daughter. I have left a message on the manager's voice mail and have not received a callback as yet. I hope they can resolve this issue very soon. More
