The lease on our Mercedes was coming due in June and so we visited this dealership to begin the process of leasing another vehicle. After analyzing the offers made, we determined the most beneficial option was to purchase our current vehicle. My husband contacted Rob to inform him of our decision, provide the necessary info, and request a final dollar amount to obtain a certified check. When we arrived for our appointment we were made to wait no less than 20 minutes for the finance person to be ready for us. While waiting, we asked if it would be possible to have new batteries installed in our key fobs as the "warning" message was on. Even though we were buying a new vehicle, we were charged for the batteries (disappointing). When finance was ready for us we presented our certified check to which she responded "oh, that number is greater than mine". She quickly left the room to consult with Rob. Naturally, the two found the reason for the discrepancy and our greater amount was indeed correct (really?). Unfortunately for her, she failed to update her numbers on the thumb drive and it's quite evident their explanation was bogus. Although we are new owners of a Mercedes-Benz there were no congratulations or offers of service. It was not a pleasant experience, and I'm glad it's over. More
