My family and I have purchased many cars over the years (I believe 8 total) and have always come back due to good experience. Sad to say that we will never be back after our last car buying experience. Eve (I believe 8 total) and have always come back due to good experience. Sad to say that we will never be back after our last car buying experience. Everything went great with the deal so it seemed until I couldn’t receive responses from Kent Givens (my sales person) for my information on how to get my tag. They sold my trade in without a title when they knew I had to update the title on the car, and when I did that invalidated the new owner of my trade in’s temp tag. I also received my tag for my new vehicle 17 DAYS after my temp tag expired. After calling and emailing to set up a time to turn in my corrected title and my second key for the trade in, and receive the 2nd key for my new vehicle I kind of gave up and waited for them to call me to set up a time to get all of this done at one time at the dealership. I was called by ROB SMITH, General Manager of Cobb County Toyota with him DEMANDING after 8 WEEKS that I bring him the title that day(I am a single mother that works full time and this was a Tuesday morning at 930 AM when he contacted me), and they had only realized they didn’t have the title for the car I traded in until the night before Rob contacted me. Rob then proceeded to accuse me of extortion as I explained to him they had promised me a 2nd key for my vehicle. To which I explained I had been trying for almost 2 months to set up a time to come in with no response. That brings me to this morning at the appointment to get my 2nd key that Rob personally set up for me at 10 AM and promised he would be here….. guess what he wasn’t! He’s actually on a vacation for 10 days even after I let him know how inconvenient a Saturday appt would be! I have now been here for 2 hours waiting on a key they should have had at this point 10 weeks ago. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE AS OUR FAMILY WILL BE FROM NOW ON! It does not matter how many cars you buy from Rob or this dealership or how close you become over the years at the end of it it’s all for money in his pocket! Find a reliable and trustworthy dealership!!! More
