While traveling from Tallahassee to Boca Raton for a work conference, I experience a loud “pop” in my car just south of Gainesville. I immediately pull off the interstate thinking tire blow-out but upon ins conference, I experience a loud “pop” in my car just south of Gainesville. I immediately pull off the interstate thinking tire blow-out but upon inspection all the tires appear in proper working order. Looking under the car, everything is clear. The on-board monitoring system shows no alerts so I pull back onto the interstate and continue towards Boca Raton. Although there are no warning lights/alerts, the car is unusually loud. I stop for gas in Ocala and decide I better have someone look at the car. Searching on my phone “Ocala BMW” I find the gas station is .3 miles away from the Ocala BMW dealership - what a lucky gas stop! BMW Ocala is open so I pull into the service lane. The reason I am writing this email is because of what happens next or better - who happens next - Robert Czaplicki. Mr Czaplicki immediately comes to the rescue! After a brief chat about the car and the urgent need to get to Boca Raton, Mr. Czaplicki jumps into action. My car is in the service bay and within 30 minutes the car problem is diagnosed. My car needs a major part replacement (something to do with the car air flow system) requiring a lengthy repair. Knowing I am in a time crunch, Mr Czaplicki improvises with a few minor adjustments and gets me safely back on the road in time to make the meeting in Boca Raton. Mr Czaplicki displays what is hard to find these days - a real professional with interest not only in the car but also my personal situation. The service department might easily say "sorry” we cannot fix it today but instead go above and beyond expectations making my car safe to drive and all within a brief 30 minute window. As a female traveling alone, I cannot express enough my gratitude to Mr. Czaplicki for his sincere interest, kindness, honesty, understanding, and professionalism.
