I will start off by saying there are few things I enjoy less in life than purchasing a car. I'm actually fairly happy that most cars are now sold at MSRP, because the whole concept of either the dealer win less in life than purchasing a car. I'm actually fairly happy that most cars are now sold at MSRP, because the whole concept of either the dealer wins or the customer wins based on how much the final price cost is asinine. When I first started the process, and filled out the form saying I was "interested", I loathed what I knew was going to happen, the 200 different emails and phone calls from every dealer in the area. I went with Russell because I could tell he was the only one that actually read my email - he is the only one that answered the questions I had without worrying only about getting me in for a test drive. His communication is the best I have ever experienced. He is honest about what he knows and doesn't know, and what he doesn't know he helps track down the answer. Criswell makes their money based on volume - a fair profit on a LOT of sales, as opposed to what some dealers do squeezing every penny out of fewer sales. But what makes (presumably Criswell but definitely) Russell different is that what the volume is high, the personalized customer service is there. I felt valued as a customer. Because of the demand, cars go from MSRP. Which means, as a customer, I can go to any dealer I want because the price is now going to be the same (or at least should be). I would wholeheartedly recommend Russell is your first contact, and don't fill out that generic form to Chevrolet that puts you on the mailing list as if you were just a number. To Russell, you're a person, not a number. More
