I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at BMW of Catonsville, and I feel compelled to share my experience with others. Unfortunately, my encounter with David Lee, disappointing experience at BMW of Catonsville, and I feel compelled to share my experience with others. Unfortunately, my encounter with David Lee, the General Manager, and Sam Hoksoo Choi, the Finance Manager, left a sour taste in my mouth and diminished my trust in this dealership. To begin with, Sam Hoksoo Choi provided me with completely inaccurate information regarding a car warranty. I specifically asked about the coverage of my extended and manufacture warranty running consecutively. Sam assured me that the extended warranty was only covering the time period after the manufacturer’s warranty expired and if I was to cancel the warranty I would receive the full price of warranty. Trusting his expertise and being under the impression that I would receive the full amount, I agreed to proceed with the cancellation. However, to my dismay, I received a prorated amount that was over 1,000 less than expected. It was clear that Sam had given me false information and misrepresented the cancellation policy. This situation not only caused inconvenience but also had I known the true policy I could have made another decision or requested another option. Furthermore, my attempts to contact both David Lee and Sam Hoksoo Choi regarding this matter have been completely fruitless. Despite leaving multiple messages and sending emails, I have received no response from either of them. The lack of communication and refusal to address the issue demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism and accountability on their part. It is incredibly disappointing when individuals in positions of authority fail to take responsibility for their mistakes and make no effort to rectify the situation. I had high expectations when I chose BMW of Catonsville, hoping for a reputable and trustworthy dealership. Unfortunately, my experience with David Lee and Sam Hoksoo Choi has shattered those expectations entirely. Not only did they provide incorrect information about a car warranty, but they also displayed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction by ignoring my attempts to seek a resolution. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend BMW of Catonsville. Potential customers should be aware of the potential misinformation and lack of accountability that they may encounter at this dealership. It is disheartening to witness such poor customer service from individuals in managerial positions who are supposed to uphold the reputation of the dealership. I hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale and that BMW of Catonsville takes steps to address these issues, ensuring that other customers do not have to endure similar frustrations in the future.
