This is our 3rd BMW we have purchased from this dealership, and the 2nd from Shaun Saalakhan. Shaun is an excellent sales representative. He is extremely knowledgeable about the cars we have purc dealership, and the 2nd from Shaun Saalakhan. Shaun is an excellent sales representative. He is extremely knowledgeable about the cars we have purchased (2023 X3 M Competition and 2026 X5 PHEV), professional in the handling of our sales experiences, and follows through on every question we've had regarding our purchases. In fact, with the most recent sales experience, we were just contemplating our purchase and Shaun worked with us to get a car we love! He sets the tone to be one of mutual respect for both customer and dealer. Within a single day of the purchase, Shaun followed up with us to see if we had any questions (which we did,,,) and was able to provide answers and make sure we were set up to meet with one the "Geniuses" (Melanie Hernandez) who specialize in explaining all the features of the car (which there are sooo many!) I would highly recommend for anyone looking to purchase a BMW in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area stop in to BMW of Catonsville and ask for Shaun! More

I was very pleased with the level of personal attention and overall service this dealer provided. Specifically from saleswoman Yulia Denika. Unfortunately, the vehicle best fitting my needs ended up being at a dealer in Fairfax, and even after I told her this she still wanted to help me. She found a similar vehicle on her lot to what I was buying and let me test drive it to save me an extra trip to Virginia. That’s the sort of luxury level customer service I expect from a top tier luxury brand. Despite knowing that she couldn’t make any money off of me, she still went above and beyond to assist me. That speaks volumes to the character of the employee, and the overall integrity of the dealership. When the day comes I can afford a custom factory order new BMW I’ll be back to bmw of Catonsville and hopefully Yulia will still be there. More

Avoid this dealership AT ALL COSTS. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in 20 years. The incompetence is primarily due to a service manager named Mike Winter, who They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in 20 years. The incompetence is primarily due to a service manager named Mike Winter, who instead of communicating with customers will instead send you to vociemail for weeks until you have no choice but to come in and demand information. I found out after weeks of waiting that they couldn’t get a wheel lock and hadn’t even worked on my vehicle yet. Then I found out that they discovered 17,000 dollars worth of recall/defect damage and I was forced to pay out of pocket for a rental car. Their service manager in addition to not communicating professionally is also very thin skinned and holds grudges. Beware, if you ask too many questions or demonstrate that you weren’t pleased with any aspect of your service they will ignore your calls and even refuse your business. I just started my career and am getting ready to trade in my 2018 for a new bmw, but the terribly unprofessional conduct by Mike Winter has made me sure that I won’t be trading to bmw and I won’t be purchasing from bmw ever again. All because of a seedy, unprofessional manager named Mike Winter. More
