My salesman did everything he could to make sure I got the best deal, and make sure my car was perfect. While I had to wait a week for the car to be ready, it didn’t matter in the end, because DePaula made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely buy another car from them in the future.

I reached out to the dealership in October regarding a truck that was on the lot. I expressed interest and tried to put down a deposit by giving Santiago Herman my card info over the phone. The dealership closed down for a week due to Covid cases. I touched base with Santiago during the week and he assured me that although he never processed my card that the truck was being held for me.
Once the dealership opened back up I got a call from Santiago which I missed because I was with a client. When I called back a few hours later, Santiago informed me that the truck had been sold to someone else.
After that I spoke with Gary Bristol who never apologized for the inconvenience but said they could have another truck ready for me by the end of November. The end of November came and went. Then I was promised it would be by the end of December. That also came and went. I finally picked up the truck in January 20th. Since this was a plow truck for my business, that meant we were down a truck for about 2 months.
The delay was apparently due to the truck being at DeJana getting the mason dump installed. I understand some things are beyond the control of the dealership. However, it seems odd that they were so far off with their estimate of when the truck would be ready more than once. None of this would have been an issue if the first truck had been held for me as promised.
The passenger side window makes a terrible grinding noise when going up, so I'll have to bring the truck back in at some point to get that fixed. They also never did a walkthrough or anything when we picked up the truck.
My rapidly growing landscaping business will be in need of 1-2 trucks per year for the next few years. This experience has made me reconsider working with DePaula again in the future.
