I was told before I booked the appointment- $199 to look at AC. I agreed to this charge. At check-out they added a 15% miscellaneous fee (shop charge). This was never discussed or disclosed before it came time to pay. Also had to pay sales tax on that fee. They knew about the fee ahead of time as it is built into the paperwork invoice. Not good business to add fees after the fact. Total cost came to $251.26 for a $199 plus tax quote. I call this car dealer math, always in their favor and always out of your pocket. More
