Also, I've on occasion dropped of a car *without* an appointment, due to some unexpected issue -- they are *very* accommodating here -- in most cases I got the car back the same day, and in worst case, no more than two or three days. For scheduled service appointments, car is ready when promised, if not sooner; and when I drop off the car, and haven't asked for a loaner, they always ask if I need a ride back home. Smythe Volvo is very professional and customer friendly place. They do high quality work. Unlike other places in the area, Service managers at Smythe are very knowledgeable about Volvos, they always lis place. They do high quality work. Unlike other places in the area, Service managers at Smythe are very knowledgeable about Volvos, they always listen to the customer and take a great effort to explain what the problem resolution is going to be, which parts are to be replaced, prices, etc. I've got excellent technical advice here, and when I used to have older Volvo, that I worked on myself sometimes, Smythe Volvo was the place I would go for parts, and Greg and Scott are always helpful with advice. The Service department, as usual, were able to provide excellent and timely service at a reasonable cost. Tony Plesh found a creative way to solve a key battery replacement issue. Both Scott and Tony were easy to work with and it's the attitude of men working in the Service Department (workmanship too) that keeps people like me returning to Smythe, rather then going to a closer competitor. Great dealership. No pressure, no hassles. Have rolled 9 new cars in about 12 years & will pickup number 10 in a few weeks. Obviously I have good reasons to keep going back. Once before I did a review for Smythe Volvo but I had to write again. I have been singing the praises of this dealership to anyone who I talk to about cars. My neighbor didn't believe me. A top notch experience for me. They answered the phone on the second ring, set me up with an appointment in three minutes. The service advisors are extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile when it is needed. The proximity to the Midtown Direct (2 blocks) train is really convenient. The sales department is very low pressure and I like that you deal with one person (my guy is Craig) from start to finish. When I bought my last Non-Volvo I spent 2 hours in the Finance Managers office as he tried to sell me everything under the sun. You won't find this at Smythe. One Salesperson from start to finish. It is truly run as a family owned business. I highly recommend Smythe Volvo! You guys are the best! More
