I was born and raised here in Tucson. I graduated from Eller college at the University of Arizona in 2010 and started selling cars shortly after. I enjoy meeting new people here at the dealership as well as getting to be one of the 1st to see and test the new vehicles and features as soon as they come out. My wife, Stephanie, and I have 2 young sons and a cute dog little dog who is super sweet with the boys. We love watching and going to UofA games and playing/watching sports together.

He was very knowledgeable about his product and services and was very patient during the test drive and new car orientation. The Service Department has been great. Regarding Curt McHenry, Financial Services Manager: During the closing process, you displayed a slick graphic presentation of your Added Security Agreement and verbally described that plan and the New Vehicle Maintenance Wrap Plan. When I told you that I only drove about 3,000 miles a year and I would not be interested in the plans, you then responded several times that the service plan would provide 80,000 miles of repair coverage and 60,000 miles of maintenance with no financial responsibility on my part regardless of the number of years. You even mentioned that I would have almost unlimited repairs and maintenance based on the number of miles driven while I owned the car. Relying on those representations, I agreed to both. You quickly pushed the agreement papers, as you did all the other closing papers, toward me and told me where to sign without actually going over the papers. You then folded them up, put them in an envelope and taped it shut. During the next few days, I went over both agreement papers and owners manuals, and they were strikingly different from your representations. I sent you an email which was not answered. I left you a phone message which was not returned. Finally, I sent another email on which I copied Sean who brought it to your attention. Again, in our telephone conversation when I asked my coverage under the Added Security Agreement, you said 80,000 miles. When I asked my coverage under the Maintenance Wrap plan, you said 60,000 miles with no further clarification. What you said is technically true, but is cherry picked, parsed and lacking complete honesty and integrity. You know my low mileage situation and yet you stuck to your sales pitch and even lied when you said that years didn’t matter. When I asked what my financial responsibility was when using both plans, you said $0 and you signed a new Security Agreement which removed the deductible which was never mentioned in our first meeting. However, Curt, let me explain to you how each plan actually works after researching all the books in the Owners package since your representations never came close. The Security Agreement is 8 years or 80,000 miles whichever comes first. In my case, this is approximately 24,000 miles, far less than 80,000. The Maintenance agreement is good for 5 years/10 service intervals based on every 6 months or 6,000 miles whichever comes first. The first 2 years are already covered by Subaru. That amounts to 9,000 additional miles for a total of 15,000 not 60,000. Those are the correct, complete, honest answers. Since I don’t find you a very credible person, I sent the new papers to Subaru, myself, and asked them to contact you to verify the mileage not years claims that you made. They changed the deductible but would not make the change regarding ‘mileage only’ reinforcing my belief that you are not trustworthy. Buying a new car is already a stressful situation. Your lack of candor has made that even more stressful. I don’t know if every customer is treated this way or just older women. I am not interested in any more of your Financial Manager slick talk, but maybe I can keep at least one person from being financially misinformed at Tucson Subaru. I will make sure that any referrals I make are fully informed and that they ask for someone else. More
