Groove It’s not easy to find a good mechanic you can trust. I’ve never been a dealership person when it comes to auto repairs. I always had the perception it would just cost more money for the same se trust. I’ve never been a dealership person when it comes to auto repairs. I always had the perception it would just cost more money for the same service. I had an experience that led me to get my car serviced at the Subaru shop serviced and they saved me $6,000. My car was making a noise and my neighborhood mechanic told me the turbo is going bad and needed replacing. They quoted me at $6,000 for parts and labor, with them getting the parts straight from Subaru. This came with a $190 diagnostic fee that would not be applied toward the repair. Money that I actually would have never spent if I had just gone to Groove Subaru first. Which is what I decided to after after talking to a service manager. He explained to me that the turbo parts through them were less than $2000 and replacing the turbo would cost less than $3500 out the door. I immediately made an appointment. It was a busy week at their shop, and after dealing with a shady mechanic I had a bad taste in my mouth. I found myself short on patience with the whole process. My service manager at that time Josh, handled everything so professionally, it brought me such peace of mind. He was patient and kind when I was frustrated. He got me a rental car to use for free while my car was being serviced (which is a huge perk to taking your vehicle here for service). All in all I really appreciated Josh’s patience in communication and the honesty of the shop. They told me the noise was coming from a recall notice for my car and was a simple free fix. I went from looking at a $6,000 turbo replacement to a $0 bill. They fixed it for free with no stupid diagnostic fee. Although if they had needed to do a repair, any diagnostic fee would go toward the cost of the repair. They do things fair and treat you well. I was sold and from now on will always take my car to these pros. All of the personnel I’ve encountered seem to be upbeat and attentive. I’m currently getting my car serviced again. They gave me another rental and my service manager this time around, Ron is always positive, helpful, and upbeat. It’s a very nice change from the typical mechanic experience. Would very much recommend to anyone! More

It was such a fast service that wish I had stayed there instead of leaving to wait elsewhere! Too many mistakes over the last few years: kept my wheel lock key for my wheels, then tried to charge me for a new one, forgot to put one of my lug nuts on my tire then tried to charge me for a whole new set, last representative made me wait over 3 hours and never replied to text of wheel lock location and tech attempted to remove lug nuts without lock and broke one of them, alignment made my car worse than when I originally brought it in, didn't put windshield fluid in after marking he did the 25 point inspection, attempted to charge for services that weren't completed, mirror was damaged when left in your lot, no discounts anymore.... I've been a loyal customer for 7.5 years and am very disappointed with service lately. Sophia was awesome! More
