I have lived in Tucson going on two years now. Before that, I lived just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan for the last thirty years. My son, daughter and son in law moved here with my lovely wife of thirty two years and my self. I love pets and the outdoors. I would love to have an opportunity to make your visit here a world class experience!

They made our new-car purchase and follow-up absolutely painless. I judge a business, large or small by its "culture." This is a top-down concept and this dealership positively has it down pat. No pressure and seamless transaction. Bill and Nan Moore More

Though the buying process was a long one and Steve Willis made sure we were well cared for during the process. From the test drive to the transfer of vehicles Steve made sure I was well informed as to what was taking place. His knowledge of the Outback and his instruction had my mind spinning. Loren Henry was willing to work with us to come up with a mutual agreement. We appreciated his professional, frank and honest negotiation. We had to come back today to sign the paperwork, because we really hadn't planned on buying a car, and Traci Roberts got the job done in short, efficient and friendly order. In closing, I LOVE my new Outback and will not hesitate to spread the word of my great experience to my friends -- THANK YOU. SIncerely, Judy and Pat Cannon P.S. The roses were such a wonderful surprise. THANK YOU More

Bob Wilson was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had purchased Forester, but I found it difficult to read the speedometer. I was given a loaner Outback when I took the Forester in for service, and I had purchased Forester, but I found it difficult to read the speedometer. I was given a loaner Outback when I took the Forester in for service, and I found I liked it better than the Forester. Bob Wilson helped me trade in my Forester with only 581 miles on it for an Outback. The Outback had the GPS and a lot of improved electronics such as a greatly enhanced cruise control. It cost me quite a bit more money, but I love my Outback. I would have always been slightly dissatisfied with the Forester. More

He made very reasonable attempts to keep in touch with us as to how our situation was going. When we were finally able to make the purchase he and the finance manager, Tim H were so so pleasant to work with. We got there over an hour late for our appointment because a doctor's appointment went over! :) But the stayed very late to help us get our new wheels. We LOVE our new Subaru Foresters! And it was such a pleasure to work with these guys and Tucson Subaru! Everyone including the door opener and the receptionist treated us as family. I truly recommend them! More

Stay Local in Tucson I recommend you go with the local Tucson dealership, they were honest, they honored the TrueCar price despite not being a participant in the program ( I recommend you go with the local Tucson dealership, they were honest, they honored the TrueCar price despite not being a participant in the program (and eloquently explained their objection to the TrueCar program as a whole, which basically boils down to the TrueCar company taking a middle-man's cut of each car sold via the program). I'll be blunt, the Phoenix Subaru dealerships will undercut the Tucson dealership because the Phoenix dealerships can hit volume minimums and work at a slimmer margin--its simply a numbers game with how big Subaru looks at things. That being said, your margin isn't going to be too much higher with Tucson Subaru, it keeps the business local to the area, and I'm confident that the hassle I saved by simply going through the closer dealership makes up for the price difference. Props to Steve Willis for putting up with my endless haggling, something that I hate about the entire process, as well as being flexible about short-notice visits to the dealerships and also being comfortable with dealing with prices over the internet and having an honest discussion about the car-buying system as a whole. Curt McHenry made the financial process very easy and was comfortable with moving through it at my speed, to include explaining warranties in a way that makes sense in a service-orientated way (i.e. what are the real results and examples of the various warranty/coverage options that they'll try to tack on at the very end of the car-buying process). He also seemed very knowledgeable regarding maintenance schedules and car specifics as he worked the service side of the house before moving to financial management. Loren Henry, manager, stepped in and was very responsive to my many questions and was patient with the whole process. He stuck by his word when he gave it and was upfront about where the dealership stood on certain things, which I can respect. I'm fairly happy with the dealership. You can play the Phoenix/Tucson dealerships off each other, and the Phoenix dealerships are more the happy to try to undercut the Tucson one in a very blatant fashion, but the people at the Tucson dealership were straightforward--so if that's what you're looking for in your car-buying I recommend that you start the conversation at Tucson Subaru and see what they can do for you.
