Highly positive experience purchasing a new car. Both Colby (from sales) and Tim (from service) made it possible for me to get a new vehicle the day after I returned from vacation. I want to commend them both, but especially Colby, the young woman who sold me the car. She was friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. She was especially good at explaining the technological updates of the 2015, so very different from my older model. I felt the purchase price was fair and reasonable and no different from what it would have been if I had made the purchase a week later, as I had originally planned. I usually find purchasing a new car stressful - this would be my third Civic – but Colby made the experience pleasant and even enjoyable. I am very grateful to her and especially pleased to see a young woman doing well in what I consider a male dominated field. She is good at what she does, a "keeper" as I told the sales manager. More

Thankfully, everything was handled beautifully and I wanted to thank the service department. They had my wrong email address to do a survey and even though it had been updated, apparently, the email was still an old one. The long and short version is that I must praise the service department for helping me out. I don't want to leave any names out but Timothy Islip and Kristen Kelly helped me out with the highest degree of professionalism and genuinely caring which I don't see every day. If you want to buy a Honda, this is the place. I bought a CPO 2006 Civic from Herb Chambers in 2008. Overall, the process was straightforward with a few minor hiccups. They told me that they ha I bought a CPO 2006 Civic from Herb Chambers in 2008. Overall, the process was straightforward with a few minor hiccups. They told me that they have "no haggle pricing" and couldn't negotiate at all. I wanted to think about it and test drive some other cars. Then they called me two days later, and offered me a price that was $1k cheaper. They told me that it had been sitting on the lot, and the general manager wanted to clear out some cars. There was also a little confusion over the warranty. They told me that it included a 5-year warranty, but then later (after I paid the deposit) told me that it was only the balance of 5 years. In order to make up for it, they offered me a lower rate on the loan. Overall, I got a great price on the car. It ran like a champ to 120K mi, when I traded it in. Service is OUTSTANDING. A little expensive, but reasonable considering it's the dealer. They are honest about not recommending too much service. Also, the waiting area is comfortable with a big TV, WiFi, popcorn, pastries, coffee, soda. And they always wash my car when I bring it in for service! My neighbor bought a Ford from a different dealer, and now he brings it to Herb Chambers for service. They do great work. More
