"Waiting and wondering"

We took our car in for repairs on Dec. 10. We required a oil flange gasket and O ring replacement. . The repair was made and something went wrong. We were told that the O ring was damaged and so they had to repeat the work. A one day job turned into a disaster; the repair leaked oil onto the engine and the repair had to be redone. Upon receiving the car, I found that there were paint bubbles around the valve covers. Pointing out this fresh bubble to the service advisor, Shawn., I was told it was nothing. My concern was that the engine may have been damaged by overheating upon the loss of oil. I contacted a mechanic and was told that the use of a degreaser on a hot engine would be a likely cause for a blistering of the paint. I brought this concern up to the service advisor Shawn but he denied that any kind of degreaser had been used for my car. He simply said all cars get that. The bubbles were so fresh that it was flexible as I gently pressed it to show him otherwise. So, although we were informed that the first O ring failed upon driving the car to another branch, (for other repairs), and that the oil leaked onto the engine, which then had to be cleaned, this was not done using a power wash or degreaser according to the advisor. In the end, we got the car back Dec, 22.
The only saving grace was that we had a courtesy car for the entire time.

It is a pleasure to bring my Audis to Crown and has been since 1999 when I purchased my first of many Audis since 1980 at that dealership. They really care and it makes a difference. As a service representative, there is none better than Mandy Walters.

With the help of Jean-Marc Biewend and Bob Kimball the purchase of our fifth Audi from Audi Clearwater was yet again a stellar and memorable experience. A shout out and credit must also be given to Todd Emery and Mandy Walters. The outstanding service and support they have consistently provided has ensured the continuation of our 18 year relationship with Audi Clearwater.
Mandy always takes great care of me. She understand my "OCD" so she makes sure that my car is detailed and looks like it just came off of the showroom floor. This particular service was pretty routine, but in the past, Mandy was able to coordinate an after-hours drop off for an emergency tire service. She had a loaner waiting for me, and turned the car around in a day will all new tires. It is great to know that I only need to dial one number to get everything vehicle-related handled in a timely and professional manner.
