I've been with Smythe Volvo since 1991 and have over thirty years experience in the automotive industry. The best part about working at Smythe Volvo is the local business feel of the company. Knowing almost every customer who walks into the shop is a great feeling. My favorite Volvo of all time was the C30. It was a small, fast and super-fun 2 door hatchback with a turbo 5 cylinder engine. When not at Smythe Volvo, you can find me kayaking or fishing somewhere in New Jersey.

Great Service that keeps my XC70 going Strong! Sure my Volvo is 10 yrs old and running strong. The reason is the service folks at Smythe who are the ongoing face of the dealership. I always leave with a feeling if you've spent your money, it was for a reason..The service folks are always respectful and accommodating. Customer for 16 years recomends this dealership very highly Smythe Volvo is the best car dealer with which I have ever had contact. This is as true of the sales department as the service department. I have never felt more fairly treated in a car negotiation then I did in my recent purchase of a 2015 XC60 AWD T6 from Craig Melquist. The only sad point was I had to trade in my 98 X70, that I also bought from Craig 16 years ago. Along the way I bought a 2005 XC70 off a lease from Chris Henriksen, which I still have. The sales experience was unique in that at this dealership all the sales staff support each other. We went back several times as we decided between the S60, S80 and XC60 AWD T-6 and the XC60 E drive. Each and every time anyone there was willing and happy to help us, never begrudging their time on someone else's sale. Even after the sale was made, Tom Rzasa spent 90 minutes with us fully familiarizing us with the features, on a busy Saturday. The Flanagans, who apparently have full or partial ownership of the dealership are on site working along side the staff actively involved in the operation. And that was just sales. Wait until you deal with the best service advisers and mechanics in the business. Each and every repair or service I had done at Smythe was done the first time, on the day promised, and never had to go back. They listen to you. That is too rare. Here are two great examples of how much I trust the service department. in 2010, I asked Tom Coward to evaluate the 98 X70 and tell me, if you were evaluating this car to purchase would you buy it. He said he would, so I kept it. And even more telling, recently when Nick Pavano told me it was time to trade in the old car, there was no question in my mind that this was the right move. I recently had my XC90 serviced at Smythe. First of all, I accidentally left my wallet in the car. When I told them, Smythe drove the wallet over to my house right away - and we live about 5 miles away fr I accidentally left my wallet in the car. All the employees at Smythe, the owners, managers, service and sales people are all very polite and courteous, and take time to answer questions. Yet, they are efficient and get work done promptly. I would definitely recommend getting your car serviced at Smythe. More

I went to the Summit Volvo center because the service is always friendly and informative. While I was there waiting, I decided to see if I could trade in my S80 for an XC70. I used to own an XC70 for 10 always friendly and informative. While I was there waiting, I decided to see if I could trade in my S80 for an XC70. I used to own an XC70 for 10 years prior to the S80. My lifestyle is better suited to the station wagon. It turns out they had one that fit my needs perfectly. We worked out a deal, and I am very happy. Everyone was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice. I would recommend this dealership and service center to anyone! More

My car required routine service and examination of a piece of trim for damage. The car was ready when promised, the agency did not need to replace the trim and didn't do so even though it could have an piece of trim for damage.
