I've been with Smythe Volvo since 1991 and have over thirty years experience in the automotive industry. The best part about working at Smythe Volvo is the local business feel of the company. Knowing almost every customer who walks into the shop is a great feeling. My favorite Volvo of all time was the C30. It was a small, fast and super-fun 2 door hatchback with a turbo 5 cylinder engine. When not at Smythe Volvo, you can find me kayaking or fishing somewhere in New Jersey.

Service: Courteous, polite, knowledgeable, they explain why actions were taken; they are very efficient at getting me in and out - and the loaner policy is outstanding. Also, I've on occasion dropped of a car *without* an appointment, due to some unexpected issue -- they are *very* accommodating here -- in most cases I got the car back the same day, and in worst case, no more than two or three days. For scheduled service appointments, car is ready when promised, if not sooner; and when I drop off the car, and haven't asked for a loaner, they always ask if I need a ride back home. Overall Volvos have been very reliable for us (driving them exclusively since 1987) - but more than that, it's Smythe that keep us coming back to the brand More

I'm on my fourth Volvo XC70 and have bought and had them serviced at Smythe Volvo over these many years. What sets Smythe apart are the people. From Kevin in the front and Sean in the back, and especially N serviced at Smythe Volvo over these many years. What sets Smythe apart are the people. From Kevin in the front and Sean in the back, and especially Nick, Tony, Tom and Doug at the service desk. Everyone is always very pleasant and more importantly helpful. This past winter while I was in Florida having my car servicesd at Germain Volvo in Bonita Springs I was told a needed a sigificant and costly part replaced. While I had confidence in the people at Germain I have more confidence in the people at Smythe, so I immediately got on the phone with them. I had Doug speak with the mechanic at Germain and confirm what needed to done. I worked closely with Kevin, Sean, Doug and Tony to resolve my problem and to minimize the cost of the repair. I wouldn't buy or have my volvo serviced at any other Volvo dealer in New Jersey. More

We have leased Volvos from Craig since 1993. We are on our tenth car,but who's counting! A Great Team. They are very responsive. I have 5 Volvo's which are serviced by this team. They also advise me on work that needs to be done on a preventive basis. The assigned ratings were given because Sean, Tom, and Doug took the time to listen to my problem, properly diagnose the problem, and effectively correct the problem in a cost efficient and timely manner. This was my first time dealing with Smythe Volvo. I spoke with Gary when making the appointment for the 22,500 mile service for my wifes 2011 S40. He was very helpful. Tom was the gentlemen that assisted me when dropping off the vehicle. Tom was also very helpful and attentive when I was explaining my concerns regarding excessive road noise at low speeds. Drop off process only took about 5 - 10 minutes. Tom also called me later in the day to fully explain the cause of the road noise issue and the recommended solution. I was able to pick up the car by the requested time. The pick up process took no more than 5 minutes. Both Gary and Tom were very professional when handling my service appointment, which quite honestly, is what is expected when you drive a premium brand automobile. Overall experience was very pleasant and I will be returning to Smythe at the 30k service interval. Well done Gary and Tom. More
