My last 2 purchases were through Tom Downing, a personable guy, who makes "car shopping" fun! I went looking for a new Camry and bought a used Avalon instead. Tom aims to please and is really good at asking you questions about what you think you want; yet, never putting any pressure on you to make a decision. He will spend all the time you need and can "juggle" many customers at one time. I have had an excellent experience with Acton Toyota whether it be purchasing the car or having the car serviced. More

As always has been the case, Shawn's presentation and explanation of the cars I was interested in, and the Acton Toyota dealership, was excellent. For me it was time very well spent. I do not think Toyota and Acton Toyota could have been better represented. I will remain a repeat customer as a direct result of Shawn's professionalism, knowledge, and helpfulness. Shawn was always accommodating, polite, and respectful helping me to feel completely at ease with the cars, dealership, and buying process. Financial Services Manager Ed Barbagallo created a very comfortable environment and was very helpful in explaining, and ensuring my understanding of the financial process, and in explaining the various supplemental warranty alternatives available. I've worked with Ed and his colleagues in the past, and as a repeat customer I look forward to working with Ed again. When it came time to deliver the car to me Tom Downing made that a very pleasant event making sure all of the technology was revealed and demonstrated so that I could confidently operate my new car. The Acton Toyota facility and its people continue to impress me, and so I keep going back feeling sure I’m doing business with a dealer I can count on in my purchasing and servicing a quality, safe, and reliable car. After visiting and test driving several SUV' This was our second experience purchasing a car from Acton Toyota and working with Tom Downing in Sales. After visiting and test driving several SUV's at Honda. Nissan, and other Toyota dealerships, my wife and I decided to give Tom a call. We looked at several vehicles (new & used) and were undecided after discussing the xxxxxxand con's with Tom. There was no sales pressure, and on Thanksgiving we made the decision to purchase a new Toyota RAV4 Ltd vehicle. As expected, Tom was ahead of the game responding to my e-mail during the holiday. We test drove the vehicle again on Black Friday, signed the paperwork, and picked up the vehicle the next day fitted with the options we had requested, and more. We are delighted with the RAV4, and dealing with Tom and the Acton Toyota staff is always a real pleasure. More

I was shopping for a 4runner, and had some "warm" dealers I was talking to BEFORE Acton Toyota because my dad's friends work at car dealerships. However, those dealerships over-promised what cars they could show me when, were slow to respond.. on and on. My father and I opened things up to discover dealers through Edmunds, TrueCar, etc. While a lot of dealers contacted us, and we spoke with them all, it was the first most prompt outreach we received from Steve and Tom at Acton Toyota that really impressed us. Because my dad and I had separately created accounts, Steve reached out to my dad and Tom reached out to me. My first conversation on the phone actually ended up being with Steve (after he had a nice chat with my pop) and we had a lengthy discussion about the market, etc. He was really transparent and didn't pressure me, and had the 4runner type I wanted (albeit not perfectly... but they fixed that with me later when we added a sunroof). Steve was out the following day when my dad and I were going up so he connected me with Tom, whom I already knew thanks to his email to me. Tom was AWESOME, like the most unsales-y of sales people ever. He let us take the car for a spin, didn't come with and pressure us, etc. He and the finance guy.. blanking on first name, but last name was Barbagallo, were super helpful, stayed late and helped us get the deal we wanted done. I won't continue with all the additional details but suffice to say Tom, Steve and there team helped with every little detail of my car buying process. They were fair// upfront about price, helped with customizing, honest about when to expect things. It's just been the most amazing experience. I'll be going here for life. The facilities are great (they have wi-fi, food, gym for when you have your car serviced), service dept is on point (very helpful when we were customizing a bit) and so on. Go to Toyota Acton immediately. More

Best Car Buying Experience....EVER Let's be honest, buying a car can be extremely stressful and difficult. HOWEVER, I just purchased a new Toyota Highlander (my first ever Toyota) this Let's be honest, buying a car can be extremely stressful and difficult. HOWEVER, I just purchased a new Toyota Highlander (my first ever Toyota) this past weekend at Acton Toyota and had, hands down, the best experience ever! I never knew buying a new car could be so much fun and so easy. We called ahead and were hooked up with Tom Downing and let him know the car and model we wanted to test out. When we arrived we were greeted and promptly met by Tom who had already pulled the car around and was ready to put the plates on to go for a spin. We checked the car out and asked many questions which he was quickly and easily able to answer. After the test drive I fell in love with the car and we spent some time talking with Tom. He made us feel extremely comfortable and it was hard to remember we were in a car dealership! There was no pressure to buy and he was very knowledgeable and helpful and never rushed us. We appreciated that he took his time with us not knowing if he would get a sale or not. In the end we ended up purchasing the car and we worked with Joe Tocci in finance. It was a breeze and there was no push for extras, however Toyota has excellent programs for very reasonable pricing which we did partake in a few. We got a great competitive rage and Joe took the time to go over all the numbers to make sure we were comfortable. I think the key that many have stated is there is no pressure, no hard sell; just knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff that want to make sure you get what you want at a good price. I will definitely recommend Acton Toyota to everyone looking for a great new or used car. More
