My sister and brother-in-law have been purchasing new cars from Elkins Chevrolet for the last 25 years. They highly recommended this dealership to me and I just bought my ;second new car from them. Tony was very helpful with our car search (Bolt EUVs were hard to come by in NJ at the time) and provided a refreshingly no-pressure purchase experience. This is our 2nd Vehicle from Elkins. My Wife & I are very pleased with the experience. From the minute we walked in to, the minute we drove off the lot,we can honestly say this was one of My Wife & I are very pleased with the experience. Tony great, but dealership shady. Paid more than I thought, and finance manager horrible. Thought I was buying car for 33,500 and was supposed to get 1,250 in rebates. When I was signing paperwork, I was than told for the first time by the finance manager that I was paying 34,500 bc I negotiated a 5,000 “premium” due to the market down to 1,000. This was the first time I was informed this. Tony was also surprised when I told him. The finance manger was also overly aggressive in pushy additional coverage. I have purchased over 25 cars in my life and this was or one of the worst experiences I have had. Although Tony in sales was great. I usually leave a dealership feeling like I got a good or at least a fair deal. Not here. Stay away. More
