My only problem with the service department and the reason I will not always recommend the company (Toyota Inc. and Toyota Des Moines) to my friends is the ongoing problem with my AM radio. It has not worked since the day the car was delivered. The radio was replaced a couple of times. Travis and his employees work diligently to repair it but nothing worked. While I like both of our Toyotas I will never buy another one. My poor ratings of the service department are based on the radio issue. My last appointment with Dave for routine service was just fine. More

Brake work Needed brake work, called for appointment on Thursday, I scheduled it for the following Wednesday. On Friday my brakes were making a metal on metal so Needed brake work, called for appointment on Thursday, I scheduled it for the following Wednesday. On Friday my brakes were making a metal on metal sound, I wasn't going to make it until Wednesday. I called Travis and he told me to come right in. Had a loaner waiting for me and they took care of everything before 4pm the same day. Travis is my hero!! More

10,000 Avalon checkup Fast and friendly best describes the overall experience. A person quickly arrived as I pulled into the dealership and said a service expert would ar Fast and friendly best describes the overall experience. A person quickly arrived as I pulled into the dealership and said a service expert would arrive shortly to check me in. That took place and the expert said it should be 30-45 minutes before the car was ready. That also held true. They even replaced a cabin air filter and I'm not sure that's required with the 10,000 mile checkup. Plus a free car wash. More
