Great experience using the USAA Car Buying Service As USAA customers, we had the opportunity to use their car-buying services and were referred to 3 dealerships in CT. We were referred to several dealerships within 50 miles of us. We heard from all 3 immediately, but Sullivan Honda had the best offers and no gimmicks to get you into their dealership!! From our first online contact with Wes Tanner to our final contact with Joe Kenney in sales and Tim Kuller in finance, we were extremely pleased with their service and upfront-- no hidden fees or surprises-- approach. I strongly recommend any USAA customer living in CT to check them out through the USAA car buying service as well as any potential Honda customer. We look forward to using their service department in future years. More

Way better than Watertown, no pressure, just great people. We live in Woodbury, 45 minutes away and could have gone to Danbury or Watertown.....this was worth the drive. Pro at belittling women Wes was surprised at every turn that I was a knowledgeable customer whose business couldn't be earned by vague allusions to how much other customers l Wes was surprised at every turn that I was a knowledgeable customer whose business couldn't be earned by vague allusions to how much other customers like him and Sullivan Honda. He could not answer any of my pointed questions, such as the mileage on the tires of a used car I was interested in or Honda's specific standards for Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. What he did offer was a firm insistence that his initial offers were the best I would find, though without evidence to support the claim. When I countered that other local Honda dealers offered more robust warranties than did Sullivan he waived it away as "surely only on new cars," though after googling the dealership I referenced he walked back that claim only to, once again, insist that Sullivan's reputation should be enough for me to make a purchase. His mantra throughout was "it's not even worth your time to look at other dealers." Wes, and seeming Sullivan dealers generally, are more interested in meeting sales quotas than earning your business. That I'm a woman buying solo probably fueled at least some part of their surprise that I couldn't be cowed into a purchase without critical examination. Having been to several other dealerships, I would wholeheartedly recommend other local Honda dealers over Sullivan. Those other dealers have been more concerned with helping me find a good fit, rather than securing a sale at the expense of belittling my intelligence or presuming that a dealer's web ratings excludes a sales team from earning my money. More

Easiest lease ever! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Sullivan Honda. I reached out via the Internet about their lease deals and car availability. Wesley Tanner responded quickly and answered all of my questions without being pushy. He really listened to what I was looking for in a car as well as for a payment. He worked with me to get the best deal possible and we made the deal over the Internet! Easiest lease deal ever! After that I went to the dealer signed the papers and within the hour I drove off in my gorgeous new car. Don’t waste your time with other dealers, these guys are down to earth honest and helpful. More

From Soup to Nuts I would like to say that I have purchased both new & used cars many times in the past but I don’t believe I have ever worked with a dealership that wa I would like to say that I have purchased both new & used cars many times in the past but I don’t believe I have ever worked with a dealership that was so “customer oriented” before!! I found a car on carguru.com that I was VERY interested in purchasing & even though it was NOT a Honda (it was a Mini Cooper Convertible Coupe), they stood by everything regarding the carfrom soup to nuts!! As I was pulling out of the parking lot of the dealership, I noticed a small star-like crack in the windshield... I immediately ran back inside and the salesman came out, looked at it, & said that they would have it repaired. He asked if I wanted to have it fixed close to MY home bc the dealer was over an hour away from my residence. Within a few days, it was repaired with very little inconvenience to me (I went to them bc I was afraid of bad weather)!! But that was not all, I noticed once home, that there was a clip or something of the sort broken on the trim around the front grill... I mentioned it to them thinking to myself “here we go” they’re going to give me a hard time bc I’ve had the car for a few days now, much to my (very pleasant surprise), they said they would repair it and did so without issue! It was approved by the person it needed to be approved by & although I could’ve gone back to them to put the piece on, I chose to bring it right to my local mechanic & he put it on In 20min... the car looks practically brand new with extremely tiny flaws...(the tire rim has a small scratch & there’s a very tiny ding on the drive side door (both are barely noticeable)! I’d like to thank Wes, & Chris in sales & jake in service... I would use this dealership again in a heartbeat!! More

I am doing it now because I had the best car buying experience of my life. I live in St. Louis, MO and I was visiting my 22-year old son in Patterson, NY. I asked him to start shopping for a car locally so we could trade in his current car. I still don't know how he ended up an hour & a half away at Sullivan Honda, but I'm glad he did! The other 4 dealers he visited did not treat him respectfully, especially when he revealed that his Dad had to co-sign...about a month later when I visited. Joe stuck with the deal from the start & offered a great price & trade value. Chris jumped in to help on another occasion. Wes introduced himself to me & chatted for quite a while when I was waiting in the showroom. Tim finished off my great experience with quick professionalism on the paperwork and friendly conversation. This dealership & sales staff are worth any extra travel. I'm very happy with the entire experience! More
