The only reason I didn't give 5 stars has to do with price for changing oil and the seeming lack of transparency on cost when making a reservation for service. Specifically, there was no indication of how much my oil change would cost until my car was being checked in. I brought my truck to Windward Ford because of the exceptional service of the people who run the department, but what could keep me from coming back is managements strategy regarding "transparency of cost." More

Was willing to work with 3rd party warranty but then would only cover 50% of parts cost and 33% of the labor cost. Quoted me 1.5 hours labor for replacing a part that literally took me 15 minutes to do would only cover 50% of parts cost and 33% of the labor cost. Quoted me 1.5 hours labor for replacing a part that literally took me 15 minutes to do after I got the diagnosis. I WON'T be going back! More

Pretty frustrating experience: I had an appointment with the service department at 8am, to do mandatory recalls for my ford Lightning and the 20k regular service. I took the day off, dropped off my truck ea the service department at 8am, to do mandatory recalls for my ford Lightning and the 20k regular service. I took the day off, dropped off my truck early, 7:45am, and was told it should be ready at 4:45pm. Twice throughout the day I called to check on the progress, but there was no answer. I messaged the service department, no reply. I went to the service department at 4:45 and their window was shut. Fortunately, I found a technician and he found one of the service department workers. I was told the routine maintenance was complete, but none of the recalls were done. I could pick up my truck or leave it overnight. I could not take another day off, so I had to pick the truck up. No communication on the service department’s end. They had my truck for 9 hours and were only able to rotate the tires? Now, I’ve got to take another full day off work to get the recalls complete. I feel like the dealer prioritized my $250 service and not the free mandatory recalls. I do not think I will use this service department again. It’s a shame, because I live in Kailua. More
