My Review of Lombard Ford:
I can't say enough about Lombard Ford. I recently purchased my second Escape from Rob Lombard and his team. What a great feeling to know and trust these folks. As I was driving to meet Rob to discuss a new car purchase, I realized for the first time in my life I wasn't apprehensive nor was I dreading the experience. Rob makes you feel right at home, as if you might be visiting an old friend. I bought my first Escape from Rob a litte more than two years ago and after that experience, I promised I'd be back. After this last experience, I'm a committed life-long Lombard Ford customer. Thanks also to Mike, who patiently took me through the financing steps. Another great asset for Lombard Ford. Rob could teach many other dealers the value of caring and going the extra mile for the customer. The team at Lombard is like this before, during and after the sale. Thanks to each member of the Lombard family. I wish I had a ton of cash so I could buy cars more often from Rob and his team!

Our whole family took a long journey from Framingham, MA down to Winsted, CT to purchase a vehicle from Lombard Ford. Now you may ask don’t we have Ford dealerships in our state and don’t they sell the same Ford car products? Yes they do. However, the customer focus and attention level from the very first call we made to Lombard through the follow up on every detail and question truly differentiated this experience. Simply put it was well worth the ride. We can tell you that everybody at Lombard Ford we had the pleasure to meet and work with left a real impression on us. Our Sales Specialist, Corinne Markey was outstanding in every way. She carefully listened and she delivered on every level. Corinne spent so much time with my family to review the paperwork, the features of the vehicle and even taking the time to walk us through and to register us on My Ford.com. We purchased this Fusion Sport (Sport Blue) for our son and we could not be more pleased with Corinne and the Lombard team for all they did to make it a memorable and positive experience. From the initial greeting we received once through the door from Dave Bettigole the General Sales Manager who had our name on the marquee board welcoming us, to Rob Lombard the owner himself taking the time with us to tell us about how he acquired the vehicle, to Ed Obrien the Sales Manager who handed us cookies for the ride home and who shared insight about the car, to Mike Mannus the Finance Manager who prepared the paperwork and who had a runner go to the Springfield Registry, and SPECIAL RECOGNITION to CORINNE who worked with us to conclude a positive deal that both sides feel really good about; we thank each of you. Very pleasant people who went far beyond the minimum to help me when i bought a used car. It was in excellent condition when I received it. I had to drive 100 miles each way but it was worth it.

My Review of Lombard Ford:
As usual Larry provided excellent service. I was in a bind because my Fusion 2010 started to make a whining noise and I needed the car for a trip in just a couple of days. When I brought in the car on Friday Larry had one of the senior technicians take a ride with me to identify the problem. Then Larry scheduled the repair for Tuesday, the day after Labor day. I was able to pick up the car at noon on Tuesday. which was a great relief. The repair was done under warranty with no charge to me.

My Review of Lombard Ford:
I had a total brake job done ,at least I paid for it, and I had a problem as soon as I pulled out of the lot! They told me to give it a little bit of time to get used to it and to give them a call back in a week. When that week was up, I almost ROLLED MY CAR!!!! I was on 2 tires going around a bend coming off the highway. Guess what..... NO BRAKES!!!!!!I brought it back and they said it was fine. Just a little air in the line! OK! Well I still had problems! I finally took it elsewhere and they didn't even change the brake pads! AND I'M THE BLONDE!!!!
UPDATE..... Lombard Ford contacted me. I am not sure what you ,the public, can see so I wanted to let everyone out there know that they contacted me after my post which was very nice. They wanted to rectify the problem which again was very nice but a little too late. I now have brakes but I had them installed by someone else so it would be useless to bring my car back to them now but the gesture was kind!

My Review of Lombard Ford:
I was a returning customer to this dealership. I have purchased numerous vehicles from Lombard and I have my car serviced by them. This car sale was unforseen and I was not at all sure what I wanted to purchase. I was never pressured and both sales people allowed me the experince of driving a number of different ford and mercury models. I researched the ford fusion and spoke with a number of people who owned one. I was impressed with the information I got. I had some very specific requests for instance I wanted a car with a moon roof and I wanted a V6. The biggest plus about the two salespeople is they allowed me time to figure out what I needed and they found the perfect car for me. I think I was in the showroom 6 or 7 times before I was ready to make my decision. I also qualified for 0% financing which was extremely financially helpful. They hung in with me never getting annoyed as I changed my mind a number of times. The result was a car I really liked and enjoy driving, down to the color that I wanted. Buying a car when you are not really prepared for the purchase is stressful enough yet this was a pleasant and productive experience. It is because of the salespeople and they deserve an A+ rating.

Dave was extremely friendly, helpful, described the car features carefully, demonstrated ALL the car features (especially the convertible top procedure).
I guess his experience operating a local restaurant helped his approach.

My Review of Lombard Ford:
After having service work done on my car at other shops, I have returned to Lombard Ford because I trust the quality of work that they do on my car. They are honest, efficient, and communicate well. If there is a delay during the repair, they tell me why and for how long. They are nice and they smile. Even when I change my mind about what work I want done on the car. Everyone at the dealership is friendly. The customer waiting area is clean and comfortable.
