I purchased a 2012 Acura RDX from this dealership on April 4, 2025, and have had ongoing issues from day one. The car has been returned to the service department six times for unresolved engine, transmission, and AC problems. Despite repeated attempts, the core issues remain, and the check engine and SH-AWD lights continue to come on.
It’s apparent the vehicle was not properly inspected or serviced before being put up for sale. My personal mechanic, a former Acura technician, noted the car needed immediate maintenance—oil life was at 5%, all filters required replacement, and more. Yet, the dealership dismissed these concerns and installed a questionable aftermarket turbo sensor sourced from eBay to cut costs, which didn’t resolve the problem.
Communication has been poor throughout. I’ve dealt with multiple staff members (Victor R, Mark F, and Chase F) who were either unavailable or unresponsive. When I attempted to escalate the matter, I was told management was on vacation, and service staff were off celebrating birthdays, leaving me without support while driving a potentially unsafe vehicle.
This ongoing situation has caused significant stress and anxiety. I no longer trust the vehicle or the service department’s capability to fix it. At this point, I am seeking a full refund and the opportunity to return the car. It's August and the car is still not repaired. Their resolve is continue to have me bring the car in for and them attempting to clear the codes.
