I recently had the pleasure of working with Genesis of Atlanta when I began to think that maybe I should consider trading my 2022 Genesis GV70 in. Full disclaimer- I lived my GV70 I just knew I had put some mileage on it over the years. When I decided it might be a good idea to visit the dealership the staff and team were very helpful. I requested quotes in the beginning to see if what I was looking for would be an option. I spoke with one of the customer service specialists by phone and they assigned me to a salesperson Taha. He was professional and thoughtful when we spoke on the phone through the week. He listened to the things I was concerned about (make and model/ payment/ down payment) and provided as much information as he could prior to my visit to the dealership. I arrived at the dealership with the intent to look at a GV80 coupe but decided it wasn’t quite what I had in mind. So we pivoted to look at a GV80 3.5T prestige and it was really impressive. Taha took his time to explain the features and benefits, including anything that had been updated or improved in comparison with my previous GV70. We did a test drive to make sure it was comfortable on the road in different elements and terrain. One additional shot out I have to give Taha is his ability to really break down all of the many technology features the car provides without making a customer feel overwhelmed. When I decided to move forward with looking at my financing options, the process was fairly easy and I did not feel like it took long. The dealership was so accommodating Taha even ordered lunch for us while I waited. We had the pleasure to work with Sam Patel for our financing and he was really good at breaking down the numbers and sharing the benefits of financing vs leasing. He ultimately made sure I felt good about whatever choice I decided. He was really personable and I did not feel pressured to make a decision. Once the financing was complete, Taha made sure I was happy with all of the details of the car one more time and made sure I had his contact information when we were done in case I needed to reach him. The entire experience with Taha was educational, informative and very service oriented. He is a great asset to the sales team. I was already a believer in Genesis for the product they make but the “experience” of working with Genesis is why I continue to be a loyal customer.
