Thomas, Joe and Brad were some of the most pleasant people to work with. Buying a car is a huge purchase and tends to be difficult, but with these folks it is a fun experience, no stress or hassle and very to the point. Every dealership wants to claim they provide that kind of experience, but these gentleman actually live up to it. Personalized service, courteous and patient! John Paul (J.P.) West is the salesman to see! First started looking on-line and found a great deal on what I thought I wanted, but it was sold the day before I went for a test drive. However, after driving several vehicles, I found two that I really liked - Hyundai and a Nissan Pathfinder! Tough decision - both extremely nice and well priced! Love my new used car - Nissan Pathfinder! I would recommend Tim Short Superstore any day!

We went to Don Marshall to trade in our car and find a more economical, reliable, family car. We called salesman Gary Gentry ahead of time and let him know what we were looking for. He did his homework and when we showed up at the dealership he was on the case. He had researched his inventory and had several options that met our needs. When we wanted to see a vehicle he had it brought right up to the door and let us test drive anything we wanted. He knew the inventory and we felt like he was truly working hard to find us the perfect fit. He was honest about things he thought about the vehicles and we trusted his opinion. Best move we ever made. Gary will shoot you strait and work hard to make your experience the best it can be even after the sale. Highly recommend you do business with him when you get there and listen to his advice for the best car at the best price. I've had my car for over a year now. I've paid over 7000$ in payments. But since the interest rate is so high amd other stuff they through in there I've according to them have only paid barley over 1500$ on it. It should be illegal for them to do this stuff. I got my car in 2015 and I won't have it paid off till may 2021. I pay 218$ every 2 weeks! Don't do it people! They rip you off!!!! All theyes want to do is trick you into buying a car that will end up costing you well over the value of the car as if it was brand new!

The worst Person ever sitting behind a Desk Dare Not call him a TRUE salesman HERMAN WESLEY We came from Atlanta to Lexington only to find the car dirty and needing repair in less than 5 hours after we took possession of course we contacted the dealership and basicaly was told that this was our problem. Kenny and Josh act like they care but it is just a FACADE. Do yourself a favor and GOOGLE DRIVE TIME AND THEIR Warranty AVEREX before going in . To present we have not heard a word from Drive Time In Lexington once you leave this dealership you are nothing to these people just a sale. I Think we all can find 22% interest any where so they are doing nothing special what they don't tell you is that there is no inspection as they advertise and the warranty company will take their time getting to the repair shop to inspect your vehicle while they figure out whats covered and then the process goes as follows the inspector whom has DT interest at heart types up a report sends in to AVEREX they look at it at some point and then hopefully approve it meanwhile you are out of a Vehicle . All while they are saying we offer rental reimbursement at 25.99 a day so now you are out of money until whenever they decide to pay this back to you. Again Stay away from any Dealership where after you walk out of the door you nothing. HERMAN WESLEY

Worst experience of my life. We purchased a vehicle and on the way home it broke down. So we went back the next morning to talk about it and they send out a guy we had never seen before. He started yelling and telling us he would sue us for everything if we tried to bring it back. I thought we were going to get into a fight the way he was acting. He never introduced himself to us but later on we found out that was Cliff. Do not buy here. CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS. Chris, Tod, and Kenny at the Dixie hwy location did an incredible job helping me find a vehicle and made the process easy for me. The entire experience was great. They had a car running for me when I got there, shook my hand and were eager to earn my business. I brought four family members with me and they made sure everyone was comfortable and they listened to what everyone had to say. They offered me more than anyone else for my trade, went to bat for me on my interest rate, and they were reasonable about negotiating the sell price. The entire process was quick and done the way it is supposed to be done. They were respectful and I feel great about buying from this dealership. I will definitely be purchasing another vehicle from them when it's time and I would refer anyone to them. The staff and company have integrity and I feel great about my decision to buy from them. Oh and I LOVE my new to me Acura :) I have been searching for a car for a month, I've met a lot of nasty salesman that tried to lie right to my face and left a bad taste in my mouth. Purchased a Volvo S 60 in February 2017 when I took delivery service light was on Dash salesman and dealership committed to pay to fix whatever the problem was. After five dealerships, four separate auto repair shops including the Lexington bar about dealership, visits multiple phone calls to the immature salesman Clay Carol they will not allowed me to speak to management Michael Michele owner. Today's visit they denied a conversation with the owner the repair bill is 3600. Plus 180 already paid out of my pocket which I have not been reimbursed for . The salesman has made commitments that obviously he cannot keep him refuses to turn the issue over to management. I am filing a lawsuit have notified the lender and will continueon every social media available

This car lot rips people off all the time. They know the cars have problems before they go on the lot. There have been many instances where a transmission is going out and they say just put it on the lot and when someone buys it we will just add the repair to their loan so we don't have to fix it. They are legally supposed to sell repos at auction but nobody is allowed to go to this supposed auction or see the vehicles they are supposed to be bidding on. So what they do is bid the car back in for a few hundred dollars then get a repo title and put the car back on the lot for sale and then sue the customer. If anybody goes to these fake auctions they will be told it is a silent auction and they have to put in a bid and they aren't allowed to see the vehicles they are bidding on. They do this so they can lie and say they have been out bidded. They put the car through the body shop to get bondoed up and painted then it goes to detail and then it goes back on the lot. They also keep copies of every key to the customers cars and keep them in the customers file for repoes this is also illegal. When a customer pays the car off they will deny having a copy of the key and just throw it away. I can go on and on but these people are evil. They rip off every single customer they get. If u actually get lucky enough to get a decent car then chances are if you buy another 1 it will be a complete piece of xxxx.

I saw a vehicle online and called to inquire about it as I lived 2.5 hours away. "Great truck, no rust, good paint job" were some of the comments that I was given. Drove the 150 miles to see the vehicle. What a piece of junk! Dented bumper, rust everywhere and one fender did not even match. Obviously a wrecked truck. Mislead is an understatement. Salesman laughed it off as "that's why it is so cheap". Five hours of my wasted time is not funny to me! BEWARE!!!

Test drove a car. Negotiated a price several days later. Talked with operations manager John Brook three times on day of purchase. Purchased car insurance for this car. Took time off work. Showed up with nephew so we could drive both cars back. Arrived as car was in process of being sold to another person. Was told to wait around because that deal was not done. Waited until it was, indeed, done. Left in time to see woman drive off in car I was there to purchase. Cars of Kentucky - family business that will treat you right.... unless they get a better offer.
Sells junk for a decent price... - Lucas Family
This dealership sells trucks as is and the reason for that is because they need thousands of dollars in repairs. We bought a truck from here at a decent price and anticipated needing to put "some" money into it... we dumped $7,000 into it. Blake, our salesman, was nice and great to deal with. Larry knows that he is selling used cars that might not safely make it down the road. Check the Google reviews and you will see other reviews that say the same thing. The negative reviews are there for a reason. We bought our truck and now after thousands in repairs have the truck we wanted. It had been in a flood at some point in it's lifetime and the entire electrical system had to be replaced. When I asked about the lights that were on (abs, airbag etc) he said it "could be anything"... it was. It had been flooded. We had to replace all 4 tires, radiator, electrical, breaks, A/C and many many other smaller components. Just know what you are getting when you buy a truck here.
