Worth your time - we ended up not buying here as they didn’t have exactly what we were looking for. Dan in particular was awesome! He talked for a while with us about Armada trims, even though he knew they didn’t have what we were looking for on their lot. We ended up taking that advice and buying it at another local dealer that had what we were looking for (‘22 Armada SL). We liked these guys so much that we came back here to look for another car we were purchasing but they didn’t end up going with the Nissan product this time.

First City Cars and Trucks is the only dealership I’ve visited where I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process and experience of buying a vehicle. After being left in a pinch to look for a vehicle that fit my criteria and budget, I thankfully found multiple listings from their website that checked out. All their vehicles were in pristine condition and were extremely affordable - well under Kelly Bluebooks recommended value! I visited the Rochester location and throughout the whole process felt at ease of how professionally and carefully everything was handled. Huge xxxxxxto the detailer- every vehicle I drove looked brand new inside and out! Rebecca and Todd were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel safe in trusting them in such a big decision. In addition to the car being priced extremely well for its value, they were extremely reasonable when working out a price that fit my budget. I had to stay in the building after hours in order to add my car to my insurance, and they were more than accommodating, letting me stay as long as needed. Plus, I also left with a nice goodie bag! I never once felt rushed, stressed, or pressured throughout my entire time there which was unlike anything I had experienced at other dealerships. When you’re making the decision of purchasing a long term investment like a car, it’s beyond reassuring to have people in control of the process that work with you and not just for a commission check. I am so grateful I came across this dealership and highly highly recommend driving over and taking a look at what they have to offer.

DO NOT buy anything from this dealer. I’m 60 and live on a fixed income. Had bad credit and they promised they could put me in a car. Coached me on what lies to tell bank so they could get loan approved. Day after I pitched the car the engine light came on. Put over 4000 into repairs over the next 1 and 1/2 never was able to get a sticker and now less than 2 years and the engine is blown and I still owe most of the original amount due to the high interest. All their cars are junk and over priced. Stay as far away as you can.

Was given a very fair price on my trade and good price on a low mileage, older truck. Marks' team had some repair work to do the truck before I test drove and did the deal and it all worked out. Everyone was friendly, easy to deal with and allowed me plenty of time to inspect the truck myself and make a decision. I see a lot of poor reviews here. Folks, these are USED vehicles. Research and look them over carefully! I know what I bought and what to expect. I don't even know what to say to the snowflakes who felt strongarmed. My experience was friendly, easy-going and very accommodating. I could have walked away on pleasant terms at any time. As it turns out, I am extremely happy with my choice. Love the new truck!

Today I called Lebanon Ford about new Ford Edge availability since I was coming from 90 miles away. As promised the vehicle was there and ready for me to test drive. I arrived at 2:30pm and test drove the car while they inspected my potential trade in. The new car was exactly what I wanted and their trade in offer was in line with book plus they offered me incredibly good financing. By 5:30pm all the paperwork and transfers had been done and I was on the road home. I hate to waste time so by God if felt good to deal with professionals.

We went to the dealer we bought our truck from new to see about a trade for an SUV. They treated us in an insulting way and didn’t even come close to matching the offer from Key Auto. JTS is the worst place I’ve ever bought a vehicle from. Got my ford f150 supercab truck back in November, had to wait 2 weeks to actually get it because they were doing “body work” and whatever else he wanted to do for it to be ready. Had it two weeks, the fuel pump went out, I knew it was the fuel pump and Nick kept arguing with me that it was the battery. So I replaced the battery to prove to him it clearly was not the issue. Got it fixed up at my mechanic, and made him pay me the $100 for the deductible since I just bought the new battery & I JUST bought the truck. Fast track 2 days after I got it fixed the cluster started screwing up, I also mentioned this to Nick and told him “he better figure it out, because this is redicilous “ then again he gave me attitude and I had to fight with him. He told me he would order me a cluster to put in MYSELF LOL, I then replied NO, “you need to get someone to do it”. He then told me he would get a ford tech” out to fix the cluster and he would pay for it (both of which he never did). This place was a rip off and scam. Fast track 2/3 months ago, Nick was arrested on charges connected directly to his dealership. I would love to know what truly happened and why it shut so quickly.

WORST DEALER EVER!!! ****STAY AWAY**** - Unprofessional and Unsafe! - Manger Chris is Extremely rude, Terrible customer service, and a liar!!! During my experience purchasing a car from this dealer i arrived and was automatically greeted by one of the sales manangers named chris who seemed friendly at first. I was very interested in one of the newer cars (22k miles) they had on there lot advertised for sale. After test driving this car and falling in love Chris explained to me about my warranty through Suzuki as well as through the manufacturer because of the cars low mileage. So we proceeded with making a deal and chris said the car was ready to go. I immediately felt comfortable knowing my purchase would be warrentied. Well i was wrong. After purchasing the vehicle i drove it for one week and it already started having mechanical issues i brought my car into the manufacturing company who told me there was nothing they could do because stuff was done to the engine so it was covered under warranty.CHRIS'S FRIST LIE. I contacted chris and brought my car in the next day after that it was a miserable two and a half long months of terrible customer service. I was told by chris my car would be ready in a week well that turned to almsot three months. Chris would avoid my phone calls, lie to me, and even tried to get me to trade in my car to save him the hassle of getting my car running right. During this three months i had NO VEHICLE! Chris said because of insurance reasons they could not help me out with loaner car in the mean time. (Another lie) I decided to give this place one more chance to give me answers and was again told i would be called back . NEVER happened. Aftet being on hold for almost an hour waiting for Chris i tried to figure out what was going on with my car and when he couldnt answer he just decided to hang up the phone on me. Realization set it Chris was rudest most disrespectful person I've ever dealt with! After coming to my boiling point i took a ride down to the dealership and finally was able to get in contact with the GM and requested him be fired for his unprofessional and rude customer care. The GM immediately took action and i finally got my car after dealing with xxxx. Overall terrible experience with this dealership if anyone is ever thinking of looking at a car stay far away from this place!!!!

A family member asked that I come here since I'm looking for a car, and at the same time determine if he should too. Drove an hour to this dealer, waited probably 30 minutes or more for help. Had 5000 to put down on a vehicle and no matter what choice, new or old they wanted more money down. After being there almost 4 hours since the "finance guy" doesn't give his reps any car prices to work with I'm finally told there's a car I can get. An almost 6 year old suv ( a model which is so heavily criticized for transmission issues), high mileage, filthy inside, with cosmetic damage, and the bumper almost falling off. The catch? 5000 down, 480 per month, the car obviously needs to be insured etc. The 2nd catch? If you put all that money down for it and sign everything, they do not know if the car runs, and get this, you cannot test drive the car because it's had no safety inspections done at all for however long it's been there idle. So the choice was to buy a car in hopes it's not a lemon. 3rd catch, if I had foolishly did all that I wouldn't be able to get the vehicle for 7 days..... and that's hopeful since there are sooooooo many reviews of people coming back to hear their car isn't ready or they'd have to choose a different one and be given a run around in terms of refunds. The best thing that came from this was saving my father a trip since he intended on coming 3 days later to buy 14 vehicles right out with no financing. Onto the next dealership....

Deja Vu... It was on May 2nd, 2019, that my wife and I drove by Wholesalers Unlimited, LLC on Rt. 28 in Auburn. I was in search of a used vehicle that we could afford. The signs outside the dealership caught our attention so I turned around and headed back. After a brief discussion with son, Mike Canales, he introduced us to his Dad, owner Mike Sr. and within an hour, I purchased a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. On May 30th of that year, I penned a 5 STAR review of WU. Today is June 3rd, 2022, and I'm pleased, make that “THRILLED”, to say that my 5 STAR rating remains unchanged. Over the past three plus years, I have stopped in several times for either vehicle inspection or routine maintenance. If repairs were necessary, Mike Sr. has always explained exactly what needed to be done and why. He'd then check with local parts shops for the cost of the item, which was followed by a search of the internet for a competitive price (often WAY BELOW the market price). After answering any question(s) I might have, he'd then order the part and set a date for its installation. Once the needed repair was complete, he'd sit me down in his office and show me (via his computer) the recorded work that had been done by his mechanic (which sometimes included himself), Following that, he'd take me out to my truck and show me the exact part that was replaced, explaining why it was necessary. I'm 79 and have owned more than 30 vehicles (most of them pre-owned). Over that period of time I have visited numerous dealerships, garages, and repair shops. While, thankfully, the majority of them have treated me with courtesy, NONE are equal to the care and concern I have received from Mike Sr., his wife, Mary, or his son, Mike Jr. When I have thanked them for the special way I believed I had been treated, their answer has always been...”Thank you, but that's the way we treat all of our customers.” At first I thought that was just pre-rehearsed “employee-speak”. However, after sitting in the waiting room while my truck was in the shop and getting the opportunity to speak with fellow customers, I have found that the old adage “There is nothing so powerful as truth.” rang true here. I thought the guys were nice at this dealership, but my overall experience was very disappointing. I was interested in one of their vehicles and came close to buying it. I don't live nearby, but my kids had a basketball tournament during the weekend that was 30 minutes away, so we had planned on me bringing in my trade to have it appraised, and so I could look at their vehicle if time permitted. I found out on my way there that the owner's wife was driving the vehicle I was interested in for the weekend. I was a little annoyed, but whatever! I still had my truck appraised and worked out numbers. I had a pre- approval from my bank, but Motor City was going to see if if they could get me a better rate. I left while they worked on that, because I had to get back to the basketball tournament for the next game. By mid day on Monday I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to check in on the status of everything. I received a response later in the day that I got approved, but it had no addional details. I replied asking what the terms were, but didn't hear back. It's now late afternoon on Tuesday, so I call to find out that my bank offered better options. I asked them to send me the purchase and sale, and I would get out of work early and head to my bank. He said he would send it right over at 3:45pm, but I was soon arriving to the bank at 4:30pm, and still hadn't received anything. I was getting nervous because the bank closes at 5pm. I call again and it is finally sent. I immediately forward it to the loan officer, not thinking to look, because we had alreay finalized the numbers while I was there, and I was rushing to get everything done before the bank closed. When signing the paperwork with the bank, I realized my trade wasn't included. Apparently, the "old purchase and sale agreement" was sent on accident, but I never worked the deal without my trade, so not sure where this old one came from. I asked if they would still buy my truck, and they said no. Furthermore, even after all this, they were not willing to bring the vehicle to me, so I would have to now find someone to take me down there. The bank was unable to redo the deal with the trade, because it would then make my LTV too high. I had previously missed out on a deal at another dealership on a vehicle that was the same year, make, model, and about the same miles, which was overall $1,500 less, so this makes sense. I wasted so much time and energy for all this to happen. I feel like the transparency at this dealership is unsettling. I worked in the car industry for many years and this is not how I operated. If you are looking for an honest dealership, try one of the McGee Dealerships. I know for a fact that this wouldn't happen over there, and I think I won't venture away from them again. Most dealership are like this, sadly! I thought these guys were different, but I guess I was wrong. P.S. I should have read through all these reviews before I went there. When looking at their responses, it is clear that they take absolutely no accountability for anything, and are extremely defensive when anything is brought to their attention. This should serve as a red flag for everyone. I previously mentioned McGee, look at their responses to their negative reviews. Examples: How can we make your experience better?, I'm sorry this happened. How can we help?, etc. It actually made me uncomfortable reading Motor City's responses. I am now curious what their response will be to this and what excuse will be used this time around.

Bought an suv from them. Within a few weeks the check engine light came on, as well as the tire monitor. I brought it back and paid 100’s of dollars to have it repaired by Paul. Not only did it take almost 2 weeks to get repaired (time I went without a vehicle) but they literally just turned the lights off manually and did not fix anything. Unfortunately this suv has been plagued with expensive repairs ever since. Would never buy there again.

I bought a used car there with lots of miles on it and knew it would need some time and TLC to make it right for me and my daughter but that's how it is when you buy a higher mileage older car. We took care of it and now it's fine. It's a sweet little used car that should be good for years to come. I would go back to 1023 Motors again the next time I am looking for a car. I was in the market for my first car and saw an 05 Chevy cobalt for sale at this dealership so I figured I'd go give it a look. I was checking the tires and the frame for rust, like anyone should do when looking at a used car. I liked the way it looked so I decided to ask for a test drive. The guy gave me an attitude like it was a hassle just to test the car. Before he let me drive the first thing he even bothered to ask was "how are you paying for this today?" I told him that I was testing cars and wasnt sure which I was going to buy but a test drive would help make my decision easier. The a hole then took the keys from me and said "well then go elsewhere. If you came here to kick tires then kick tires but dont ask for a test drive if you aren't going to buy". So I said fine have a nice day and he told me to take my attitude home with me? The dude has mental problems I swear. Do not go to this place. Guaranteed the car was a piece of junk that he was trying to get rid of. Dont let him trick you into buying junk. DO NOT GO HERE.
