I have been wanting a new car for months. I have been a loyal customer of Hyundai since 2004, purchasing a total of 8 cars between myself and my husband. I was leery going to a new dealer after having great service for the past 21 years. I decided to visit Matt Blatt Kia in Toms River and was met by Anthony F. He listened to what I wanted, as well as my concerns. He was patient, no pressure, answered every single question, showed me how all these new fandangled gadgets work in my new 2025 Sportage, answered text messages and was overall a really great guy to work with. Two of his existing customers were there and the one I spoke with couldn't sing enough praises about Anthony. Overall a really great experience, everyone was super nice and I got to drive home with a beautiful new car! Thanks Anthony!

Their service center is beyond disappointing, this is not my first car from Sansone our family has purchased other cars from here but the service at Sanson Kia is the worst. There is no empathy. See it for yourself in the pics attached. I have been going back to this place for multiple issues and almost always each issue requires me to go back for the same reason for months, despite themselves stating that their best certified technicians/master technicians review the issues. They have almost never given us a rental without making us wait for days saying that the warranty will not cover. Or they cannot provide rental until they know what the issue is, so if their certified technicians cannot find out what is the issue how is it the customers fault, it is simply the FAILIURE of this facility. They have changed parts of our car (which now seems to be unwanted) as the issue has not been resolved. Do not expect your issues to be solved at this location. Remote start key fob issue gone back 6 times (turned out to be a battery issue) Thermostat issue- gone back 3 times. I was on my way home in the middle of the night and my engine started overheating and smoking while I was stranded in the middle of the road. Fuel pump issue which btw also caused further issues which they made us pay for. Noise on acceleration- been going back since May 2025 it's August now, and I am done, pissed off, and find the need to simply put it out here for everyone to know. Please do better customer service, your staff told me to give one more opportunity on Saturday 08/09/25 and yet I did not hear back on any updates. This is not the service any customer deserves. I am traumatized is an understatement

Why would I take on debt, that would then affect my credit rating when I can pay cash?! Worst experience in the 55 years of my buying cars since I was 16 years old. No wonder their rating is so very low.

we bought our 2020 Kia Telluride in March, certified pre owned. Joe our sales person was great, easy to work with, and responsive. (the only good part about our entire experience) since our car is a certified pre owned it's supposed to come with 2 sets of keys, which they only had one. The person handling the sale and loan (Hany) who's since quit or fired told us since we live 4.5 hours away they would send us a key and have another Kia dealership program it for us, which was also stated by Joe our sales person.. the car had been there for over a month so a extra key should have been made previously. Then our license plates expire 4/25... to which they blame on us for unpaid taxes, that wouldn't have been owed if they were registered in time as well as lapse in insurance a month later, because we had gotten a new insurance and they had the old one on file... all of these were cleared up that day with DMV, sent to the manager... with no response besides "we will call you back" which they didn't. We called every single week to a point where they were ignoring our calls and we had to call from our children's phones. (which they deny) here it is June 9th and they say i will finally have my plates tomorrow June 10th.. we shall see.. I've been driving in this car for months, with my 6 children with expired plates praying we don't get pulled over. This has been the absolute worst experience buying a car we've ever endured. stay FAR away from them!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Not the first time we have been burned at this dealership. We were hopeful with the new owners things would change; others having great experiences at their other dealerships. Why hire back terrible people who do nothing but over promise, play with your time, lie to get you in the door and try then to rip you off? Thanks for nothing Steve, again! They have this young girl working there who was rude as soon as we walked in the door. Not wearing a bra with her breasts all over the place; looked like trash. Had no experience, had no business being there! This used to be a great dealership. They refused to give my car back from service as they wanted to make a deal to do a trade. Never got calls back, other departments called saying we missed our appointment, can we come in? Lack of communication everywhere. Service never called back with a rental car. Now they want me to pay them $195 to release my car. This was the worst experience ever and we have bought and sold cars here before more than 3 times. Really disappointed. We will have to travel to another Kia further away as they are dishonest and frankly run a circus over here.

My experience was excellent. We arrived at a fair deal for our 2023 Telluride (love the vehicle). However the reason for this review is because there was an error in the paperwork that resulted in us being charged $1,000.00 above the agreed price. The dealership noticed the error, called us, apologized for the error and immediately refunded the overpayment. This honesty and integrity is appreciated as they could have swept it under the rug. For me, 5 starts for honesty and integrity, you do not often see these days were someone admits a mistake, corrects the mistake and apologizes. For this reason, I have to highly recommend this dealership. Thank You, Joe

The worse experience. Came to return Kia lease and manager din’t take it. Lease is over and I can’t return it? The worst part is that the manager didn’t even get up to talk to me. He was skewed down behind the counter and talk to me like I’m a homeless person. I asked him for his name and he said that he doesn’t have to give it to me. So….I am at the Kia dealership, trying to return Kia lease and not only that he said ‘I am not taking it’ he also didn’t want to give me his name. What a professional WOW. And when I told him that as a Kia representative he has to at least tell me his name so I know with whom I spoke, he said ‘I don’t have to give you S..T’ Very professional! So, they beg you to get a Kia Lease but when the lease is over they don’t want to take it back! KIA CUSTOMERS BE AWARE!!! . I did sent a complaint to a Kia corporate and I will make sure I stay on top of it. I also did googe search of that ‘professional’ manager and his name is Nelson Jimenez. Note to the Kia of Englewood owner, please make sure your employee do greet the customers and treat them with respect and not like we are a lowlifes if we decide to return the lease which btw was bought at your dealership! Why would I or anyone ever want to do business with your dealership and Kia itself, if your manager and Kia representative treats me like this? I did took a photo of your manager so I can identify him, even though he did try to hide himself….lucky for me he was too lazy to even get up.
