Leasing/Purchasing a car for 1st time buyer - barbg
My daughter just graduated from college and was ready to lease/purchase her first car. Being that she just started to build credit, we were worried that she wouldn't be able to get a car in her name. So, we decided to go to Coleman KIA because I purchased a KIA Forte from them 2 years ago and I just love the way that car drives. And also very sporty and great on gas. So, we went to Coleman KIA and picked out a Forte Sedan. Unfortunately, we had some trouble only because of credit. But that didn't stop Jerryl Bennett (our salesperson) from trying to make a deal. I was able to be a co-signer for my daughter so she could lease a car. They didn't have the color that we wanted on the lot, but they found it at another dealership and it was ready for us the next day. All shiny, clean and new. The paperwork went fast and we were out of there in 2 hours. Come hook or crook, Jerryl was going to make sure that we would get a car for my daughter and have it in her name so she could start to earn good credit. Also, it was Jerryl's day off but he came in to work to make sure everything went smoothly and that we were satisified with the car. The whole staff there was really friendly and you didn't feel like you were being taken. I would definitely refer Coleman Kia to anyone who wants to drive a KIA/Subaru. You won't be disappointed!!!

I lease a vehicle every 18 months (1 for the fam, 1 for me) sometimes spending 3 hours or more to finalize and leave with my new car. This was by far, the fastest, most hassle free, no games experience I have ever had buying a car. I worked with Mike over the phone and via text, got the exact car in the exact color and features for a great price. I went to another Kia dealership looking for an optima sx they showed me a car but wouldn't let me test drive? I left with a bad feeling in my gut like I was getting ripped off. Went to Prestige Kia next and last. First dealt with Peter Siekierski who was great. Very knowledgeable about the car (same car optima SX) and then dealt with Anthony Rendine who helped close the deal. Both were great and helpful. I ended up getting the same car, with 40,000 less miles and for less money than the other place. I would highly recommend these guys and this dealership.

UPDATE - After getting publicly flamed on the internet, we got a call from the customer representative for Matt Blatt dealerships apologizing for what transpired. She assured us that this is NOT the way they typically do business. She offered to sell us the truck at the quoted price, offered us a $100 VISA gift card (whether we bought the truck or not for our troubles) and offered to move the truck to another Matt Black dealership so that we wouldn't have to deal with the original parties. We just arrived home with the vehicle. It's a shame that it took a bad review to make this happen, but in the end, the dealership did the right thing and we have to give them lots of credit for that. Hopefully, this will NOT happen again to any additional customers.

Just had a poor customer service experience with Matt Black KIA in Egg Harbor, NJ My husband and I visited yesterday and test drove a truck. When we went inside, the sales manager responsible for pricing was happy to tell us that the price had just been reduced by $500 and that we were the first to hear about it. It was the first truck we had seen, so we said that we might be back. After going several other places, we returned today to make the purchase but the dealership would not stand behind the quoted price. At first the sales manager claimed he never said it. But finally the sales manager caved in and said he "might" have said that he "thought" the price had been reduced by $500. Trust me, we both heard what he said. Getting the dealership manager involved, they refused to stand behind the quoted price, even though we drove over an hour to make the purchase. The old bait and switch still lives on at Matt Black KIA. BEWARE!! Our salesperson, Vinnie Mancini was very nice. We encouraged him to seek employment elsewhere.

Went in with zero intention of actually purchasing a vehicle on Saturday June 4th. My wife saw 2 Kia sorento's used within our budget. We ended up meeting Bruno outside of the dealership and we told him we wanted to test drive both sorentos. There was no BS no guff he just straight away brought us to them and showed them to us and let us test drive. After falling in love with the 2013 we sat down with Bruno and started working on the deal. When he said we are definitely leaving in a newer vehicle that day he wasn't kidding. The entire time during the process he was a Gentlemen and honest with us. A few hours later (none of the wait was Bruno's fault. All the banks and negotiating a monthly price) we drove off in a 2013 sorento with only 21k miles on it. He was so great he even helped move the stuff from my old vehicle into the new one and setup the car seats. I would definitely come back when I need another vehicle.

I went to freehold Kia hoping to leave with a new car but my credit was very low, three other dealerships turned me down but thanks to Mo Falah and Limo they got me approved and its in my budget. If you want a fair deal and good people willing to work for you I recommend shopping at freehold Kia.

Great sales rep but bad business - Unhappy customer
Ed Diaz was a great sales rep. However the vehicle I received was crap n ran down. Plus they still haven't paid off my trade in and it has now been a month. I complained about this suv and another was resolved. What did I expect? I expected them to lower the price of a better conditioned suv, use their discount, and subtract their commission. But this was not done, they basically sent me on way saying I was stuck with the broken suv, that needed a tune up, brakes, a new battery, coolant or something for the AC, plus belts. To top it all, I found a sneaker under one of the seats. My experience was terrible and their reaction to my complaint didn't make matters better.

The absolute worst - KaitiG
My experience with RK Kia of Vineland was and continues to be a disaster. My car broke down 12 days after my purchase and I towed it back to Kia (which the sales manager fought me on him paying for the tow, he finally paid) they stuck a bandaid on my car and it broke down again a month later. (Still under my 90 day warranty thankfully) I had to take my car to a "third party" to prove it was Kia's fault. It was proven by 2 separate third parties. Kia stuck another bandaid on my car and I could tell something wasn't right so I took it in to third party again. Which they proved the work done by Kia was ruining my transmission. Car was towed back to Kia and sat for a MONTH because sales manager did not want to replace my transmission, but the service center agreed to being at fault. Since transmission has been replaced my car now jumps each time I put it in reverse.. Motor mounts not being placed correctly and Kia does not want to fix the issue.
All I wanted was a decent car from a reputable dealership. I am now paying out of pocket to get all of these issues fixed from a different service center, though the Kia service center is friendly.. They clearly do not know what they are doing.
And for the sales Manager Dave, he is a joke and a very mean man. I am so mad that I did business at such an awful place. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and the lack of respect they have for their customers.

Wish I could be giving a 5 star rating. The only good thing about my visit to Fred Beans of Flemington was the actual automobile I test drove (Optima SX) and Ferdinand my sales associate. I had, what I thought, was a crazy end of the month deal in place for the car and was told via the phone "yes, come down we can get very close to what you want to pay per month for your lease." Get to dealership only to find out that my request was unreasonable and miles apart from where they could get to. Don't lie to me and think that by making me sit for 2 hours I will cave and take a deal that I am not budgeted for. Nice staff, aside from the sales manager who thought I knew nothing about leasing. Will not visit again and I suggest all of you in New Jersey do the same - no honesty.

Until I actually walked into the Motion Kia Dealership, I would have never even considered buying a foreign car. Man was I wrong.! I originally came in because of another vehicle that I was thinking of getting. As the Kia salesman approached me in the parking lot I was thinking here comes the usual sales pitch with pressure and hidden costs. I was greeted by Jeff with a friendly hello asking what he could do for me. I told him what I was looking for, how much I wanted to spend and that I didn't want to stay here all day. He agreed and told me that wouldn't happen. It didn't. He listened to what I wanted, found me a newer model, gave me a fantastic price and most of all I was out in just a couple of hours. Definitely, telling family and friends to go to Motion Kia.

Think of the old way car dealers did business, with lies, misdirection, intimidation and talking in circles. I went to five different dealers and Sansone Jr Kia was the only one I got this from. The salesman was deceptive (just really not very good at it) but friendly. The sales "manager" I met with was a long list of negative adjectives I won't get into. Bottom line, after two hours, I left without test driving the model I told them I was there to see or EVEN A PRICE ON IT. Was told by the "manager" that I wasn't going to get anyone's real price because I wasn't "making a commitment"...what does that even mean? Well, sporto, 24 hours later, I sitting here in my new Huyndai. Thanks.
Pure Rip off - doesntevenmatter
In August of 2014 I brought a 2005 Nissan Altima from here, supposed to be nothing wrong with is. 115,000 miles runs gd, no problems. So after I had the car for 3 weeks, the water pump blew on me. when I took it back to the dealership, I was told to leave it and come back on Monday because it was around 5pm Saturday night. Car was smoking heavily, and the car could not be driven.
When I returned Monday Morning, I was told to what was wrong and to leave the car so it can be fixed, and was provided a rental until my car was ready. A month passed by and I got a call to bring the rental back, or they would call the police on me. A lot of other B.S. was involved, but after 2 more days I was given another car to keep. a 2007 Kia Sedona with no front brakes, and the rear struts and shocks worn down terribly.
For the first time I ever brought a car from an actual dealership, THIS WAS MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER......
