Got the truck I wanted with little hassle - leftfast
I was looking for my own car and looked at what sort of car would make a good fit. After thinking about my needs, personal and business wise, I thought a pickup would be a good fit. After doing some initial research, there was little doubt that I was going to get a Ford F150. I dug into the Ford website and visited some other dealerships closer to home to come to get a good idea of the right model, options, packages, exterior/interior colors, etc. After a few weeks, I had a pretty good idea of the truck I wanted and the price I wanted to pay for it (thank you TrueCar). I went to Ford.com, searched for inventory, and found a few trucks. Most of them had certain options that were missing, but there was one that had everything I wanted and a bit more. However, the truck was in Mahwah, about an hour away from me. I went to my local dealership and told them about the truck, but 1) I wasn't getting decent pricing and 2) I wanted to see the truck for myself. I felt bad for the sales consultant at the local dealership, it wasn't his fault in regards to the pricing. I went to Mahwah, test drove the truck with Richard Bennett (nice British dude), and then went home to figure out what I wanted to do (wait a few months and get a 2018 model, or go back and figure out a way to get the truck). I called the dealership the next day and Richard was unfortunately not working that day, but I talked to a young sales consultant, John Salvatore, and he's the sort of guy I like dealing with because he's not your stereotypical "car salesman." After discussing some initial pricing and accessories over the phone, I went to the dealership, and sat with John, going over some other aspects of the car. It was 8:45pm and they were about to close, but John and I started working on the pricing and went back and forth for a while with his finance manager before coming to a deal at 9:30pm. John wasn't trying to push me (I think, as a tech savvy guy, he probably knew I had a number in my head from doing my research and I was trying to hit that number). We got to a deal that made sense for me (a little more down than I wanted and a longer term loan, but the pricing and payments were comfortable for me with an option to payoff quicker if I'd like). I told them I only wanted 1 company to run my credit, and by mistake they ran it with a few more companies, but they apologized and gave me a letter that would help me get those credit checks off of my credit report (it was an honest mistake). I went to pick up the car, had a nice, long discussion with the finance manager, Dennis Henry, and ended up having little time to go over the car with John. We rescheduled the time a few days later and John broke down everything I needed to know about the car and answered any questions I had. He also went over the accessories and we figured out what made the most sense for me.
Overall, it was a good experience. John is a guy who knows cars and doesn't need to be gimmicky to sell you the right car with the right options for you at a good price. He's pretty straightforward and explained the truck and its features very well. So, if you're like me (analytical, breaks things down, straightforward, doesn't like all the gimmicky stuff and the pushing that car salesman typically do), John's a guy you'd like to deal with. He's relatively new to the business, and the younger generation would probably like dealing with him. I'd recommend John and the Mahwah Ford dealership in the future.

Being that I'm a former employee of Sansone Kia I went back to see coworker Jeff Fore to lease another Kia. I originally wanted the base model Cadenza which they no longer had.. they had one that was the next trim level up from the base model.. although they offered me a great deal on it, it still didn't fit my budget.. both Jeff and Mike made every effort to locate a base model but nothing turned up within a 200 mile radius.. so being that I had a couple more months left on my current lease I decided to leave and think about my options.. I called Mike and Jeff back a couple hours later to price out an Optima EX instead.. with having the color combo I wanted in stock and an offer I couldn't refuse I went back an hour later, Shahid from finance already had approved the lease all I had to do was just sign the paperwork and I drove off 45 minutes later! Although I didn't leave originally with car I really wanted the EX has a lot more options than the base model Cadenza and it more than fits my budget!! I will gladly go back to give them future business and I would recommend them to anyone! I was very pleased!

After doing a bit of homework regarding a 2017 Kia Optima SX, I contacted several Kia dealerships in the Tri-sate area either by email, phone, or direct visit. I was able to find the exact car trim / package in a color I liked in inventory at Liberty Kia, and a few other dealerships. While negotiating the price Makayla and the staff at Liberty Kia were up front and honest in their approach. This was not the case for a couple of other dealers I visited. I received a very fair price compared to a local Kia dealer that did not seem that interested in working as hard for my business as Liberty Kia.
The purchasing process was fast and efficient. All the staff from Sales, Management, and Service were friendly and very helpful. As they are close to the NY State border it was no problem for them to process the Title, Tags, etc
I highly recommend Liberty Kia. It was well worth traveling from Long Island to make the purchase.

Showed up knowing basically what I wanted and Sansone Jr's had great inventory of Kia Souls in stock so it was no problem to drive a few different models. Didn't feel rushed or pressured by our salesperson, Mike Tiedemann, who did a great job running through different buying options to get us the maximum amount of rebates possible. Overall a great experience at Sansone Jr's 66 Automall and we're loving our new Kia Soul.

After buying 4 cars from Freehold Kia since 2013, I would never go back again. On my last purchase of turning in a lease, I negotiated the overage of miles into new lease and I have been billed for this for the past 5 months. The dispute escalated to a shouting match with the sales manager(Geno) who called me a liar and told me to go to xxxx. If this is how they are treating loyal customers no wonder every time I went in there, there was always new people working there. With competition being what it is, I cannot see these people in business much longer.

From the time my salesman Mike Tiedemann said hello until the time he said good bye I truly felt his entire focus was on me and my car needs. He took his time answered all my questions. I wasn't planning on buying but after having such awful experiences at other local dealerships and having such a great experience with Mike and the entire staff at Sansone Jr's. Called one day prior and Scheduled an appointment for the next day at 8:45am. Got a confirmation email of my appointment. Dropped off my car the night beberlo and requested repairs on two recalls, oil change and tire rotation.
On the drop off form wrote down car needed AM. It was way past noon so I decided to call them, guess what? My car was not being work on. Ask to speak with supervisor "Jim" who informs me that they are just starting to whorl on my car. I let him know that I had a 8:45am appointment. He answered that he doesn't see it. So he promise to get the car done in two hours, guess what he call me back at 5:15pm, I happen to be busy with client so coundt pick up his call and my voice mail was full.
I called back at 5:20 ask to speak with him. Guess what he's gone for the day.
Got transfer to the sales manager and I explained the situation and told him that this makes not want to buy a car from them again he responds "good to know that" he call me back 15 minutes later and notifies me that my car is ready. I asked what time was the latest Jcan pick up the car because I will be in the area past 8pm. and if he can leave the keys under the carpet. He responds "you left a bitter taste on me so I don't feel comfortable doing that and litetlatly hang up on me. Got there 8:10pm picked up the car and requested for paperwork. They didn't have it.

Easily the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Bought a used car from them almost 4 months ago and still haven't received my plates and registration yet. I've left messages for both the GM and sales manager with no call back. Each time I have to go in to renew my temporary plates the sales manager acts as if I'm bothering him and he doesn't have time. When I asked how much longer it will take I was told "I don't know, go home and wait for the phone call". You might save a few dollars here but the lack of customer service and aggravation aren't worth it.
