I can not stress enough how horrible an experience it was dealing with these people. My wife purchased a certified pre-owned Tiguan from them around 2019, got the extended warranty and kept up with all maintenance through them (paying a premium instead of going to a third party). Immediately when the warranty expired, a different VW dealership said they found metal in the oil pan, most likely caused by the wrong oil being used. We reached back out to Herzog-Meier for a second opinion and to see if they could help us out since they were the only ones who performed the maintenance. They refused to offer any assistance outside of charging full retail for a new engine. They didn't look at the vehicle or follow through with any other help. I owned an auto shop for several years and have worked with people from all parts of the community to help them financially, when dealerships show they don't care about their customers. And, from my experience, this dealership could care less about its community.

Buying used vehicles in Alaska is very pricey right now so we chose to check in the Portland area. We were very fortunate to find a car we were interested in at Pure Automotive. When we arrived Mason did an excellent job of helping us find a vehicle perfect for us.

This is one of the worst delers. The service department makes you wait 90 minutes for a scheduled appointment. I bought free oil changes for life and really regrett it. They either make up repairs needed or they are totally incompetent. Buying from this dealership also sucked.

Complete bait & switch. Test drove a Maverick XLT and was given a price. Started paperwork. Half way through, we were told they couldn't sell any Maverick XLT's, because there were all kinds of recalls on them. Was then shown a Maverick Lobo and was told they could sell us that one for the same price. Sat waiting for finance to call us to sign the paperwork forever, so that by the time they called us back, we just signed where they pointed and left for home. Then they called the next day and said they had to come switch vehicles with us, because the VIN on my paperwork was for a different vehicle. But don't worry, it's the same exact vehicle. Except it wasn't! and if I wanted to keep it the one we drove home, I had to pay another $5,000. Fine, kept the lesser vehicle they brought. Then look more closely at the paperwork and find that they charged us several thousand more for the Lobo after they said they would honor the first price they quoted us. And part of the paperwork they gave us was in someone else's name. What a rip off! Will never do business with them again!

Bryce has followed up with us after the purchase, these newer cars have lots of different features our trade in didn't have. He's a patient and great teacher. I bought a used Outback from KFS that I planed on using a lot in the forest for recreation. The sales person, Desiree, was great. Everything else was terrible. They didn't disclose an accident where there was a clear, very poor repair. I had assumed there was because of the price, but didn't know for sure until I pulled the front bumper facia. They tried to sell it with dangerously worn tires, and calmed they didn't notice (on a car they had in their possession for 6 months. I heard noises after about 9 months - Then I replaced both tire rod assemblies. The extended warranty I bought (because I suspected SOME problems, again due to the pricing) was void due to their dereliction of duty as an agent. I paid $1300 for repairs, and ended up canceling the EW for a $1K loss. They had a "no mask" policy, this was fall 2021. I certainly won't be buying an Outback Wilderness from them.

My wife and I recently mad an offer on a 2013 Honda Civic sedan. They were asking 13,000, we agreed on 12,500 and went to sign the contract. We went in an office and the finance manager showed us a paper that had the deal itemized. 12,500 + a warranty for 2,300 that equaled 15,000 and change due to the warranty and DMV costs. The finance manager told us that the only way they can sell us the car for the agreed price of 12,500 was if we bought a 2,300.00 warranty because they wouldn’t make any money on the deal. So they wouldn’t sell us the car for the agreed on price of 12,500.00. Very unethical to agree on a price then not sell said car unless you buy a 2,300.00 warranty ! Beware beware beware of Medford Voltzwagon, Medford BMW or Medford Nisan. They are all owned by the same owner.

Have used this dealership for the last 3 oil changes and service and the service department employees seem to always be dismissive and have no empathy or compassion. I will be looking for a new location to service my truck due to their outrageous pricing for an oil change and tire rotation. I just had my invoice, and it cost me with a veteran's discount $411 dollars for an oil change and tire rotation. The pricing has gone up 110 dollars from 6 months ago. I wouldn't mind spending extra for good service but again, the service department employees have zero customer service skills.
