I am a out of state general contractor supervisor . I travel all over the east coast doing different projects . as I travel I stop in at different car dealerships looking for my wife a newer vehicle most of the dealerships have been pushy trying to almost force me in to getting something I really didn't want. We ended up on a job in Easton PA. So we stopped in Star GMC Buick late hoping no one was there so we could just look as we were looking at a Cadillac srx here comes a salesman I told my wife here we go but the guy just said how are you and kept walking so I said hey how much is this Cadillac so he stopped and looked the price up told me and AK could he do anything else I said no we were just going to look around he said take your time and let me know they where closed if I was interested in a test drive come back Monday. Well my wife is now driving a newer Cadillac Srx Marcos and the whole experience was a easy and smooth transaction for me even though they had to work hard to get the deal done for me since Im a traveling Supt.

I bought a 2002 Cadillac DTS with less than 45,000 miles on it for my girlfriend. Thought it would last her a while. Alas, it basically bombed. Frustrated with that and a series of issues with my truck, I was facing a giant black hole of vehicular suck. Then I’m at a Kia dealership and this potato chip eating “Metal Mover” is breathing chips and cigarettes all over my face. Oy.
I’ve always LOATHED the car buying experience. The sleazy salesman. The “metal movers.” The confusing number-speak and sales jargon. I’ve HATED the car buying experience so much that for most of my life I purchased used cars or trucks from friends or friends of friends. Okay, in all fairness, I’ve had some dips in the credit score department as well. That said, I just had a fantastic and unexpected experience with Philip Dallas at #1 Cochran of Monroeville that has changed my opinion of new car buying forever.
Dallas actively listened. He never once tried running game on us like they did at Kia. Never once did he apply any pressure. He’s the Sales Manager and could have easily shuffled us off to one of his salesman. Dallas went out of his way to show us around. He took the time out of his busy schedule to give us all the options. No nonsense. No BS.
I could go on and on but in short, my girlfriend and I feel that Dallas and #1 Cochran Buick of Monroeville deserves: a rave sales review. This experience with Dallas and #1 Cochran Buick of Monroeville just didn’t feel like I was even buying a car, much less that Dallas was selling us one. It just felt like people talking and working together on a problem.
If Dallas could make my credit score work and put us in a nice car without all the cheese-ball negotiating crap – then perhaps he can dig in and work it for other car-buying skeptics/not-so-perfect people just like us.

After going to a few other dealers, and then stumbling onto Abeloff I thought I was dreaming.. Zero hassle zero pressure if they weren't wearing ties i wouldnt know they were salesman the whole experience was like buying a car from your friends or family they even entertained my 3 year old daughter.. Then they dropped an accessory off @ my house on there own personal time that wouldn't fit in the vehicle.. Who else would do that!!!!

I had a great experience with the whole Faulkner organization especially with my salesman Don Friel. When I first walked in to their brand new used car sales building Don was very friendly and down to earth, explained my options and the price of the car. I left and with talking to my Wife we decided to make an offer on a 2014 Terrain. I stopped back to see Don and we negotiated a price as two friends would talk about a price, not like a salesman and buyer, no pressure at all! After agreeing on a price it was late (4:00) and my wife was not with me. So we agreed to pick it up the next day and Don had it detailed, oil changed, tires rotated and almost full tank of gas. the next day we came in and where meet by a team of three people, Ashley, Chris and Maryland to handle the paper work and explain all my options on warranty and other options like extending the factory warranty, financing and what all the papers that needed signing where, not just putting them in front of you and asking you to sign. If I had to rate this whole experience from 1 to 10, I would give it an 11.

Where do I start? Back in 2009, I never thought I'd be able to afford to buy a truck from an actual dealership, but I thought, what the heck, I'd give it a shot. I pulled into Sherwood Groves and spoke with one of their fantastic salesmen, and was treated like a person, not a "sale." We went over many options on a vehicle that was right for me, and my budget, and they never tried to force me to buy more, or steer me away from what I could afford.
About two months after buying my used truck there, my alternator died. I called up Sherwood Groves, and explained what had happened to the service department. They asked how long ago I had bought the vehicle, and I told them. Even though I was out of warranty, they stated that if I brought the vehicle in to them, they would split the cost of the alternator, and waive the installation fee. Even though they did not have to do this, they made me a lifelong customer.
Fast forward to this past Friday, 4/10/15. I came in to the dealership to trade in that same truck on something newer. I told my salesman, Chris Case, just what I could afford, and he showed me what there was out there. I was fighting myself on this purchase, just because I did not want to have a payment on a truck again, but it was a necessary purchase as my old truck was just getting too old. Chris never pressured me into making a decision, nor did any of the other members of Sherwood Groves. In fact, they suggested that I sleep on it, and come back in the morning to discuss more options, even to look at other vehicles to start all over. They could see that I was not happy with what I thought was the only vehicle I could afford.
With a fresh start the following day, Chris and I went over several other choices of vehicle that were in my price range, and Avery Snell worked the numbers to find out which deal would fit my budget perfectly. I am a completely satisfied customer in every regard! I will always come back to Sherwood Groves, because start to finish, they are the BEST dealership in town!

This was my first experience with this dealership and I was pleasantly surprised. The price I was quoted over the internet for the SUV I inquired about never changed when I got to the dealership. Every other place I had gone to would change their story once I got there, can't give the incentive and 0%, you get one or the other...you know, the typical old song and dance everyone goes through. But at this place, I got both, the incentive and the 0% financing....and they gave me exactly what I thought my car was worth right from the start! It was my best car buying experience ever. I recommend them highly.

Sales experience was easy and salesmen are knowlegable abiut the GM vehicles they handle. Have a good selection for a small town, and will actually take time with the process and are transparent with price, accomodating customer needs without playng games all day.
Service appointments have been easy to schedule, and routine service is usually completed without delay. So far, wait times have been brief, although it's all been routine with no repairs. Staff is friendly and personable.

I recently had my KIA inspected and had an oil change. I took it on a Saturday morning because it fit my schedule. I will thank them for that. But the service took just over 2 hours, which I thought was long. The lady doing the service write up was unfriendly. The only person who treated me with any decency was the young woman who was the cashier. The woman in the service department told me to stand outside while they "washed" my car. Mr. Smail needs to understand customer satisfaction is a big thing today. The only reason I was there was due to my regular mechanic having health issues and I was told that Smail's service was really good. Well on this day they were off their game. I won"t be back. I"ll start going to the KIA dealership in North Huntingdon.
