WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY CAR DEALERSHIP I’VE EVER GONE TO. I would give zero stars if I could. We came here twice to get our Volkswagen’s included maintenance and repairs related to recalled door handles for our ID.4, and both times have been absolutely terrible customer service. The first time we went it was because we got an email from Volkswagen saying our car was due to for included maintenance, so we made an appointment and came in, just to be told that in actuality the email was wrong, and they didn’t have the parts for the recall either; it was very inconvenient and a big waste of time since we have a newborn baby and we are both disabled, so getting out of the house isn’t easy for us, and I told them they should change their system so that doesn’t happen to other customers and waste their time too. Then we rescheduled the maintenance for when it was actually due. The man who we were dealing with at that first appointment, Nic Perez, was very rude and it was clear he didn’t care at all how their system had made our lives more difficult for no reason; he told us that typically maintenance takes all day, they can’t just finish it in a few hours while you wait like other dealerships I’ve been to do, but he assured us that when we came back for the second appointment there would be a free shuttle to take us home while we wait and then bring us back when the car is ready. Nic even said that he put a note in our appointment about needing the shuttle, so that it would be ready to go for us. So today, a few months later when it’s time for the second appointment, we go to drop the car off and Nic is behind the counter again at the maintenance desk, and he told my husband that they’ve gotten rid of the shuttle service entirely; he made no apology for our inconvenience, nothing, and then suggested getting an Uber or Lyft (which is an expense we can’t afford in this economy). I can’t believe that they didn’t even have the decency to call us to let us know that the shuttle service we’d be depending on was being canceled so that we could make other arrangements, they just told us the day of, even when there was a note about it on the appointment. Once again, it’s crappy customer service from Nic Perez and lack of any consideration for the massive inconvenience customers will face of not having their car for an entire day (without even a reasonable estimate of when servicing will be finished); for a family like mine with mobility problems and a baby, who can only afford one vehicle, that is huge! This is the closest Volkswagen dealership to our home, but we will NEVER come back here after the horrible customer service and complete lack of consideration we’ve experienced at the maintenance department here. We’ll be going to Dick Hannah Volkswagen in Gresham, where the customer service is much better and the maintenance department gets things done as quickly as possible when they know you’re waiting on your car.
