I have been going to Toyota Direct ever since I bought my 4Runner there in 2015. They have treated me well and done a good job maintaining my vehicle. I bought my car new from this dealership. This was the worst service I have ever received. Mindy had service done that I did NOT request or approve. I scheduled online an oil change for $60. This was the worst service I have ever received. Mindy had service done that I did NOT request or approve. I scheduled online an oil change for $60. She requested 2 other services w/o my request or authorization. She never mentioned the addition. My final bill was $345. When I went out to check on my vehicle b/c it was taking so long she was arguing with a younger Indian gentleman with the same issue. He said several times, “ I did not ask for this.” She told him it was too late and he owed the money. My guess is she does this on evening appointments so there is no one there besides her when it is time to pick up and pay. Totally unacceptable behavior. I’ve never had this happen before. She said you signed the paper. I told her that I scheduled online and only requested the oil change. Her reply was “ everyone says that.” She said she mentioned the additional services that were suggested which she never did. I had just put new tires on the car and one of her extra services was a tire rotation which I obviously did not need. She offered a payment plan if I could not pay the full amount. Again, this behavior and service is totally unacceptable. More

Time to service is a consistent issue. I SCHEDULED an oil change for 4:40 pm. It took two hours for them to complete the oil change! This was not a drive up service, but a scheduled appointment! This has happened EVERY time my wife or I have gone there for service. We live an hour away, so all together, this was 4 hours out of my day just to change the oil. Unacceptable! They overbook worse than a doctor’s office! Again, this was NOT a one time issue, but a consistent problem. It really makes me regret getting the pre-paid service agreement at purchase. I’d rather pay Jiffy Lube! More
