Thanks to the numerous websites available from carfax.com to kbb to edmunds and the autotrader cars.com , the information available to me was astounding. But really not that easy until you decide exactly what car you want! My car search lasted over 30 days as I was trying to figure out how to replace a totaled vehicle. It took a week or two before we finally decided to get a used suv with low mileage. I found an MDX on Acura Columbus website on the night of our first snow. That is was first introduced to Steve Hammond and his calm and professional manner. It was snowing. Traffic had been slow. I was running out of time to see this great MDX at the dealership. Steve was calm. He just told me the dealership closes at 7 but not to worry The vehicle I thought was an MDX was an RDX and it wasn't ready to be shown yet anyway. In my mind I wanted MDX not the tiny RDX. It was a week later before I got into the dealership again. It was close to closing time and I got to see how nice the dealership is. There were several 2020s inside the show room. It was a busy place but they were closing at 7 so I would need to come back again. By the time I could return in a few days the MDX was sold but Steve told me he had a Pilot. We drove it. When we got back he said he had an RDX too for a nice low price that we should drive but it just came in and needed to be prepped. I finally was open minded about the RDX having seen it in the showroom. It is not a tiny SUV. It actually was the right size for what we needed and wanted. 2 days later my wife meets Steve to test drive it. She really liked the car and said Steve was professional and not pushy. She doesnt like the sales people when they are complimenting her appearance or trying to be charming. And Steve was nice but not full of that kind of BS at all. She told me she liked it a lot. Right color, Felt good to drive. Low miles. I had heard enough. Later that day I talked with Steve and said I need to drive it. We had a nice conversation on the phone and he helped me realized my month long search for a vehicle had finally ended. He got me a better deal for financing than I had pre-arranged with my personal lender too. In the end he helped make sure we got a new replacement key fob so that we would have 2. And he equipped the RDX with brand new rubber mud mats from Acura with RDX logos! very nice!. He said he wanted us to know that he really doesn't want this Acura to be our only Acura. I just leased a 2020 RDX last Saturday and I highly recommend this dealership and Francesco as a salesman! He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and made sure I got the recommend this dealership and Francesco as a salesman!
