I have used Acura of Pembroke Pines service dept. exclusively for over 10 years, and this is the first time I was not completely satisfied. I brought in my newly purchased 2016 RDX for an A/C issue a exclusively for over 10 years, and this is the first time I was not completely satisfied. I brought in my newly purchased 2016 RDX for an A/C issue and found that the previous owner had it in for the same problem, but did not do the work and traded the car in. The service advisor gave me a guesstimate of about $2000. I came back a week later to do the work, and the actual estimate was $3019.00 including tax. To help out, the advisor said he would get me a discount on parts and 10% off labor, Well, the labor discount was there, but no parts discount, and the bill was more than $100 over the quoted estimate. He also said he'd include their multi-point inspection which was not done, and I did not get the usual car wash. When I picked the car up, the advisor was no where to be found. In their defense, the A/C work was performed perfectly. Not sure, but I would have to consider a different dealer for future service. More
