Hello Kenneth! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration with your vehicle, and we understand how disappointing it must feel when the technology doesn’t perform the way you expect. As discussed during your visit, your Acura was originally manufactured and sold for the Canadian market. Because of this, some of its systems (including the navigation, language settings, and temperature display) are region-locked and designed to operate only within that market. Unfortunately, this means they don’t always convert properly when the vehicle is brought into the U.S. Our shop foreman performed a complimentary diagnosis and software update in an effort to help, but the system remained in its original Canadian configuration. At this point, the only potential solution would be replacing multiple major electronic components (something that may not resolve the issue and is not recommended by Acura, since the vehicle was not intended to be reconfigured for another region). In addition and at your request, we were able to assist in ordering/programming new factory keys as your aftermarket keys were not functioning properly. At this time, we informed you about the damage to the driver's door lock cylinder. We understand how frustrating this situation is, and while the limitations are outside of our control, our goal is always to be transparent and provide the best guidance possible.
