During a scheduled maintenance of my Rav4 2021 with 8k miles, mechanic found nail in tire and tried to sell me a new tire for approx $300+ "depending on my payment options." Instead, I went to Hewlett Hou miles, mechanic found nail in tire and tried to sell me a new tire for approx $300+ "depending on my payment options." Instead, I went to Hewlett House of Tires to get a second opinion that same day. The nail was located in the middle of the tire and "an easy fix", and they balanced the tire for a grand total of $45.
