We spoke to Ottie Jones and had a test drive of the Ascent several months prior to the purchase... absolutely no pressure to buy at any time. When the time was right for us, we remembered our great experience, and came back to purchase. We saw online the car we wanted was being delivered, so we called and reserved it right over the phone. The car arrived at the dealership (a couple weeks later) and was available for pickup the next day. We spent a total of 1.5 hours in person at the dealership. No pressure and a very pleasant staff.
