NEVER AGAIN. Since 2018, I have been coming to this location for service to my 328i. I even moved out of state and continued to use this location for service work. The Service was good. But my last vis location for service to my 328i. I even moved out of state and continued to use this location for service work. The Service was good. But my last visit truly felt like a bait and switch. I requested to have my brake fluid done because of the warning light. I took off of work for the balance of the day to wait in the lounge as work is being preformed. Advisor goes over the Vehicle Health Inspection and the mechanic suggestions. I elected on of the suggestions. After ~3 hours my car is ready. During the commute back to NY, I notice the Brake Fluid light is still red (should be green = good). Turned around to head back to the location. Advisor informs me that I only paid for the Brake Fluid Service. Additionally, I was told that to have the light go green I would need micro, front brakes, air filter worked on. This is new information to me. The advisor said that is why I had you sign saying no to brakes. [I have a juris doctorate so I know what makes a contract; there was no meeting of the minds] I stated to the advisor, usually I come to this location and look to get whatever service work is needed based on the car warning lights. NEVER have I been told that it is a all or nothing approach to get a car warning light green. The kept repeated the same thing about needing all the work done for the light to be cleared. I understood what the advisor was saying; I wanted to know: why this wasn’t clearly shared with me; why call it “brake fluid service” if it doesn’t clear the car warning; something about this does not seem right. Maybe it’s the Continental approach to customer service? Maybe covid has made this location for the stereotype of sleazy car salesman? Maybe it is factual? I just Wish I was told this ahead. Because as I stated from the beginning, I am here because of the brake fluid light in my car. More
