Good first experience I was called to bring my recently purchased “ just cleaned” vehicle in for service related to a recall. Due to a mixup, it was determined that I was I was called to bring my recently purchased “ just cleaned” vehicle in for service related to a recall. Due to a mixup, it was determined that I was contacted in error. Since I had canceled a meeting to take my car in, I was not happy but decided to have the service department look at seats that were in need of service attention. Even though vehicle is still under warranty, service consultant was concerned that this would be an expensive repair not covered by warranty. After pushback, he agreed to speak with the service manager who quickly approved the repairs under warranty. The service consultant told me that, since my vehicle had been just washed, he wouldn’t wash it again in order to expedite getting it back to me. This seemed fine and I was given a rental vehicle and sent away to carry on my personal business. The consultant said he would call me when the work was complete. I received a call the following afternoon advising me my vehicle was ready. I returned the rental car and met with my service consultant who had the valet bring my car to me. My consultant left me prior to my “DIRTY” car showing up. At this point, since I was running late for an engagement, I decided not to go back and ask my consultant to have the vehicle washed. My vehicle had obviously been parked outside overnight in the rain. While the interior was still relatively clean, the exterior was very, very dirty. All vehicles should be clean before being returned to their owners. More
