Had to bring a brand new 2025 840i in to fix a poor ceramic coating job sold and done by the dealer. Multiple quarter size stains or splotches were on the hood and rear trunk panel. Picked it up after service assuming it had been fixed, but when I returned home noticed most of the spots were still there and had not been removed. I’m disappointed the car was returned to me with spots still on it. Clearly it had not been checked by someone. This is in spite of me marking the spots with tape when I dropped it off. Apparently that was a waste of time. Had to bring it back again. This time they seemed to get most of them, though one on the hood can still be seen faintly. But I’m not taking it back again. Very disappointing for a new car they ordered for me from the factory. The communication wasn’t very good either, I had to text to get updates. More
