I was recently Duplicate Upsells I want to warn other drivers about the high-pressure sales tactics used by the service department at Beaver Toyota. I was recently charged $159.99 for a brake fluid service at 59,540 miles (October 2026). The major issue is that this exact same service was already performed on my vehicle just one year prior, in October 2025, at 49,281 miles. Flushing and replacing brake fluid after only 10,000 miles and 12 months of normal driving is an entirely accelerated, duplicate service that my car absolutely did not need. Standard maintenance intervals recommend this service every 2 to 3 years. Pushing this redundant work represents a clear pattern of aggressive "preventive upselling" just to generate extra revenue, resulting in completely unnecessary out-of-pocket costs for the customer. Treat any interaction here as an arms-length negotiation, similar to a real estate transaction. Bring your own service records, request explicit paper copies of all official offers, and do not trust verbal promises or words. Buyers beware. More

My wife and I came in recently to have our Tacoma Serviced. There was an issue with the battery going dead and alignment was off-The Tacoma had less than 5,000 miles on it. We spoke to Douglas Mc Serviced. There was an issue with the battery going dead and alignment was off-The Tacoma had less than 5,000 miles on it. We spoke to Douglas McKee, Service Advisor, who assured me he would have those issues resolved. Neither of us expected it to be resolved within 24 hours because we had to leave it there so they could diagnose the battery issue. He called me the very next day to let me know that the problems I had has been fixed and to top that off went above and beyond to have two of the tires, that were getting worn out by the bad alignment, replaced. We can’t thank Douglas McKee enough for his professionalism unlike some of the service advisors I’ve dealt with in the past (at other dealerships). He actually listens and gets it done! We will be returning from now on to Beaver Toyota for all of our maintenance needs. Thanks again Douglas McKee! More
